Moogles to appear as "Lucky Items"

In Final Fantasy XV, Moogles appear as “Lucky Items.” By taking Moogle dolls and goods along as your lucky charm, you can avoid all kinds of troubles. Maybe a Moogle will help out when Noctis and his friends are in a tight spot.

To coincide with the reveal, Square Enix has launched a Moogle Collection campaign that unlocks a new “Moogle Reward” each time the @FFXVJP and @FFXVEN Twitter accounts reach a certain amount of followers. The final reward will be a video of Final Fantasy XV‘s Moogles in action.

On the last day of CEDEC 2016, five consecutive FFXV sessions on the themes of, backend systems, characters, AI, graphics, and development environment were held. It was a fulfilling day where you could listen to FFXV sessions for almost the whole day.

In this article I would like to report on the 3rd session which was on engineering, which covered, “Optimization in development of AAA titles and Introductions of examples from FFXV.” The name FFXV is in the title but I think it will be of great references because the the content seems applicable to general game programming...

There have been a lot of reports of the latest ver being refined with less choppy and stutter. Hopefully XV is the game to revive the franchise. Can't wait to see what they do next with the series.
