Not a DLC, they were talking about adding in Kingslaive scenes to enhance parts of the story and give more context on what was going on elsewhere in the world. They did this at the end of the Judgement Disc demo.

I'm pretty sure they always intended for there to be a Day 1 patch... its just a matter of having a game that would still be "decent" without that Day 1 patch, and they deemed the Sept 30 version to not be up to that standard.

I understand now but from what i gathered they wanted everyone to have the same experience regardless of their internet speed, or bandwidth limits. 7~8 GB of CSs seems like alot to make your fans miss out on when you claimed to have delayed the game for such a specific reason. Especially since they came to the conclusion they make the story make more sense with them included than without… so personally claiming to have delayed because fan experience was their priority really just was BS and them trying to get more hype/good publicly.
