There's a youtuber who is playing the fuck out of the latest demo and posting tons of videos. I'm tempted to watch but I've avoided them for the most part.

I can't help but wonder though, you're putting in tons of hours and exploring every nook and cranny of this demo... only to have to start from scratch again in 11 days?

Of course, I'm assuming the demo won't transfer over your save file and let you continue from where you left off.

The golden era of PS1/2 demos had many games that I did this with. Xenogears on some PSM demo disc, Wild Arms (I think? some space pirate game), and MGS2 come to mind.

TONY HAWK PRO SKATER demo from Pizza Hut... Warehouse level and Goldfinger's Superman played over thousands upon thousands of times.

Also, combat won't change, so he'll be fluid from the start.

I never got any demo disks to play with. Just went to blockbuster and probably could have bought the game with how many times it was rented.

I miss the old days. Had a local mom+pop video store that my family visited weekly, got great deals and usually got free rentals. I got a copy of the original black label PS1 Tactics Ogre for free, sold it for $120 a couple years ago.
