Anyone know if you can redeem a preorder code you get on a gamestop receipt then return the game for a refund without any problems to your PSN/xbox account you used the code on? I really want the DLC game from gamestop but i am getting the game from best buy already, 20% off + $10 in credit, gamestop can't beat that.

For anyone that ordered it via PSN... are you worried at all that it will experience some lagging issues?
The only game I bought on PSN was WWE 2K17, and maybe it's a problem with the game itself (god only knows they keep throwing updates in people's faces because of issues the game is facing), but I noticed it lagging hard at times, and so I avoided ordering FFXV that way for the same reason.

I've ordered other games off psn and haven't had any issues. It most likely was one of the wwe 2k issues causing you problems.

This. BG knows how to roll. Youtube has definitely recommended lots of spoily videos to me, but I don't seem to be subscribed to anyone actively doing it. The worst I've seen on my stream is the JP only demo play throughs posted. Fuck that leaked release nonsense.

To further cover this, as far as your console is concerned, there is basically zero difference between a physical game (due to the games being fully installed on the system) and a downloaded one these days. The only change would be the physical game requiring a disc check prior to launching.

If a game would have problems, it would be the games fault and not the place you acquired it from.
