Not an ideal solution, but if you live near the place and the items aren't on a truck yet you can go and physically pick them up yourself as long as they've already been processed.

Had I thought about it, I'd of checked before leaving work. Blind trust/hype ruled over any logic though and I zipped home ASAP. Going back would be a solid 90 minutes+ round trip this time of day.

1.) Buy one from walmart.
2.) When your copy comes in, take it unopened back to walmart with receipt.
3.) Get money back.

This only works if you didn't preorder the deluxe edition or the UCE.

PSN always sucks for me. Steam and Xbox Live download at normal speeds but PSN is awful even on LAN.

I have a question... Still on chapter 1, exploring a bit. My team is lvl 5, I found some mine with lvl 7 goblins. Suddenly, I get to an area with a fuck load of Goblins where boss music starts playing. Then I see that the 20 goblins are accompanied by a lvl 52 samurai dude who deals 6000 damage per hit to my characters and I have no way of escaping. Is there a secret to defeating this guy, or am I out of my depth and completely fucked?

If you played the 2nd demo where you're a kid, you get Carbuncle at some point in the game.

Anyone have tips for survival in combat? Even if I'm 2-3 levels higher then monsters I'm having issues if there's a lot of monsters

Also except using items what's the best way to heal in battle?

Or even outside battle since I can't use items outside battle

Link attacks and blindside links provide a ton of i-frames, take advantage of these and you'll not only be doing a ton of damage (1.5x) but you'll be immune to a lot of the nasty shit that happens when you have 5-10 enemies on you. Also dodge / block / parry all useful tech you should be familiarizing yourself with.

Also experiment and find enemy vulnerabilities with magic, it can greatly swing things in your favor.

lol no it's not. Unless you're fighting something like 15-20 levels over you I've found the game very easy 9 or so hours in. Flank shit and hit it from behind, and dodge/block all the heavily telegraphed attacks as needed.

And even then you can beat stuff that heavily outlevels you as long it doesn't straight up one shot your characters.
