Is there an FFXIV disc? Not sure if I missed a spot or not. I have the other discs.

Also, I'm on chapter 8.... still waiting for some story to actually happen, I feel like they barely gave anything and the game is supposedly halfway through? Very weird...
That being said, the open world is awesome, quests are meh but hunts are fantastic, and the battle system is probably the best thing I've played with in years. So I'm happy overall, I just don't understand why Square can't produce a good FF story anymore.

There are two XIV discs, one for Before Meteor and a Realm Reborn one. Can't remember where I found them.

I love the night time daemons and shit attacking you constantly. Really puts that element of fear and worry into FF games that haven't been present since like...12.

Also learned that you can maintain lock-on by pressing R3 after locking on, which was one of the things that pissed me off.

My favorite part are the dungeons. They've never felt this claustrophobic and actual real life cave like.

That R3 tip is super helpful.

The 2 FFXIV Discs are at the gas station shop in Lystallum, one disc literally only has Garudas theme on it though lol

Yeah, the Before Meteor Disc only has Fallen Angel as the track, the other Disc has a few other songs including Under the Weight, but for the most part the FFXIV discs are a let down to me D:

So there's a lv 1 quest that i havnt done and that i can't hand in no idea why

It's Scenetic delivery iirc, I had to buy a Tomato in a shop. and deliver it to taka, the issue is that it's not taking it

Game says, delivery the ingredients to Taka, but if i click on 'quest' next to taka, he only says 'ill cook you something good" or "cid is just worried for you you know?"

And if i talk to Taka by the normal means, it doesnt do anything more then have the talk, eat,hunt menu

Have hit the one true grind for the game now. Sleeping at Cape Caem over and over again waiting for Cid to finishing upgrade weapons. With stops by the garden to plant carrots between naps.

According to the players guide you can speed this up tremendously by doing quests or hunts. Like one hunt or quest will make him auto finish it. Maybe try that?

I have like 5 Cid quest, and did like 10 hunts and still doesn't wanna finish

You don't want to talk to Taka directly, it's some papers on the counter that you need to interact with.

Figured out the whole deal with the Cid upgrade quests. Do a quest or hunt then rest, he only calls you after sleeping.

Engine Blade III/Drain Lance III/Ultima Blade take multiple quests though, everything else is just one quest -> Sleep -> Return to Cid.

I have done like 20 quests and 10 hunts and lots of sleep and Cid still doesn't wanna close those quest

I did read what you said Rata. I was having a similar problem where for some reason if I was facing Taka, even though the Quest icon came up, I'd just talk to Taka instead of turning in the quest. Once I moved to make sure only the Quest "giver" was in view it worked. Beyond that, I'm not sure why it's not working for you.

Edit: It was a Lucian Tomato you bought from the south map near the beach right?
