Just beat the game @LV46 in about 38 hours. Really enjoyed it overall. What did people hate about CH13's writing? I came in expecting a trainwreck and thought it was generally fine outside of:

Farming those MAX Angelus 0's for Magitek Suit V2s is gonna suck...but they're so good...+2000 HP +100 STR and +70 VIT each, but 5% drop rate D:

Beat my first Iron Giant. "Hah, these are easy." Next time a Red Giant pops and kicks my ass.

Have a fight with Imperials and think they are getting too low level for me. Next time the airship drops off a lvl 75 Mech at me. Wtf.

That level 99 mech is what drops the Magitek suit V1's and 2's, gonna be a giant pain in the ass to farm D:

Where did you find out about those rare drops? The endgame guide resources are surprisingly thin from what I've seen thus far.

My collectors edition guidebook ^^-b looking at the accessory list and seeing what items to look for from which mobs, then checking bestiary for where the mob spawns

Man this game is super glitchy. I got the Sniper Rifle and was messing around with it and a Ronin mob used it's teleport slash thing and knocked me under the world geometry while in first person. Stayed in first person running around even after I switched to a different weapon and even unequipped the Sniper. Finally fixed itself after getting knocked on my ass by the same Ronin but then I couldn't lock on or Warp Strike because it kept thinking I had the sniper even though it wasn't even on my bar. Had to Save/Reload to fix it. Had a similar experience another time except I couldn't use any X button prompts to pick up items or talk to NPCs.

Random chocobo complaints. As much as I like the chocobo theme, really need to be able to use radio on chocobo because the amount of riding I do.

Also, why the fuck can I not change my party member's chocobo colors? Looks lame with mine all customized and them riding 3 yellow ones.

you CAN change your party members chocobo colors at the customize NPC, you can R1/L1 cycle through them, can only name yours though, I gave prompto a hot pink one >.>

You can change your party member's Chocobo colors. Same place you change yours. I haven't been there in forever, but it's that same menu.

i think most people hate Ch13 for the gameplay / level design moreso than the writing. I felt like I was playing Resident Evil. I hate Resident Evil.

The painful attempts at jump scares was awful.
13 felt like they tried to play it off as you're invading midgar or something and then they got lazy and started copying and pasting rooms, and tried to create a puzzle and then gave up halfway through because it was too hard. They also must have a raging fucking hard on for the PS4 power on beep because those god damn doors.
