You have it, its automatic. I don't remember getting it either. The last one is just north of Digythe Haven Camp. It's in front of that rockface thats sticking up into the sky.
Awesome, getting the last one when I get home today.

I havent had many FPS drops but the ones i've had have been pretty big. It's to be expected you can tell the build we got is a good ways from the final product. They even stated in one of the interviews what version the demo is running on and how much further ahead the version the retail game would be on is. I appreciate they gave us a demo even though its not close to final as a thank you for all the waiting and bullshit.

So the controls are kinda clunky so far. 1 on 1 fights don't feel too bad but group fights the lock-on system is a nightmare (specifically when trying to change targets). I like the shit you can do with the weapons even though it was confusing at first and overall combat feels nice. Though I wish my party would stop getting in my way when I'm trying to attack (or use a skill that will miss because they've decided to pull a #18) or escape. The cave was borderline ridiculous with the enemy/ally collision and trying to do shit (though I didn't have much trouble in the cave apart from the final wave which was in a massive area). For someone who can teleport Noctis doesn't really move very efficiently.

Skills/MP are decent, but trying to use them feels incredibly clunky and unresponsive. Also I can barely tell what Noctis is gonna attack and which direction he's going to face. It's weird. The last thing was defensive stance and never knowing when I'm going to dodge or get hit. I wouldn't mind that so much if my actual command dodge responded as soon as I used it, not after the end of a long ass wind-up animation that I can't cancel. It's weird again because sometimes I dodge quickly and everything goes well and other times I'm just getting smacked even though I'm mashing the fuck out of dodge. Parrying was also confusing at first but then became stupidly simple after figuring it out a bit. Only question is whether you can parry without facing the threat since there were a couple of times I parried but still got smacked.

So the only major gripes I have is dodging being icky and lock-on/target switching being super icky. It took me a while to get used to fighting but once I did it felt good for the most part. Even the wolves that people complained about didn't give me much trouble after a bit (though there is 1 set on the way to Goblin/Ramuh cave that are in the worst terrain, also one part of Behemoth sneaking). Speaking of which, the stealth parts weren't nearly that bad. Hell at that level I wouldn't even class it as stealth it was just cinematic slow walking behind a monster. Still, more tense that most FF games get and with some little shocks like the fucking Goblins crawling out of the walls you have to go through (I thought that was amazing).

I dunno if they'll fix dodging responsiveness or the lock-on system but I'm hopeful that dodging will get better while I'll just have to deal with a terrible lock-on system lol

These are basically my thoughts. I actually loved the Behemoth sneaking part. Unlike most people I've talked to.

That aside, one thing they definitely need to tone down is the desire to make Noct's movement "realistic". Let me turn on a dime, let me have more momentum when I first start running... etc. Its a video game. Yeah, I know its a fantasy based on reality but I just did a Dragoon Jump, aiight?

Yeah, the way Noctis moves often led to me doing some dumb shit as I quickly turned around or tried to go in a direction I wasn't already going. Considering they've done all that in KH/Type-0 I'm surprised (but also not) that they didn't follow their example. It's like FFXIV 1.0 where trying to make everything look good (that doesn't particularly need it) just makes the game play weird.

the lock on system needs some work for sure. Parry'ing is a bit clunky but I got a bit used to it. Juts have to make sure your facing the parry marker and not attacking. It's not made for twitch responsiveness so when I stopped treating it like an action game it worked much better for me.

Oh, so me getting decked to the floor after I pressed parry was due to the crappy lock on system, not due to mistiming. I see.

I think the parry is why we dont have a real lock on system. because w/ a real lock on system you can't turn to face the mob who is gonna attack you w/o breaking lock on. But dunno, its not a deal breaking and is still a lot of fun but I can only hope it gets reworked since the demo is a far behind build of the game

All I want is for the camera to be less derpy while locked on, and for buttons to switch the lock out. Having a soft lock on while using the camera stick to change lock on targets is silly.

    Feedback survey is up: http://www.finalfantasyxv.com/poll/

I basically left feedback saying they need to fix the voice acting and odd choices with the English localization. I also stressed the importance of a clear narrative. We should be able to sum up FFXV's plot in one sentence. I would be so happy if FFXV ends up being Square-Enix's Last of Us. With the Last of Us it wasn't about the ending or twists, it was about the journey with Ellie. It was so good I don't crave or want a sequel. I want FFXV to end up like this. If they want to make the plot a bunch of bros going on a roadtrip while trying to save Lucis or whatever then so be it. Deliver and deliver well.

    Edit:

Personally I think Noctis and Gladiolus sound too similar. I had a hard time telling which one was talking without subtitles. After reading snippets of the translated Japanese dialogue I think the English translation should be fitted more towards Ignis being less formal and more friendly. I'm truly concerned about the localization too. Type-0's localization is all over the place and I'd hate to see the same thing happen to FFXV. The English that's currently in the Japanese version works just fine. There's no point in changing Phantom Sword to Armiger. Especially after we've been told the ability is Phantom Sword since forever.

Just filled out the survey as well. Noted more or less the same things; the voice acting was a little weak, party member movements were clunky in tight spaces, and stressed the importance of a good story/narrative.
