Watching the trailer again made me realize something. When a nobody is killed and their heartless too, they're revived as a human again. So that means, "Axel" Lea, in the trailer says his real name means he was in fact revived. His heartless must have been killed already or during 3D for him to return.
GOT IT MEMORIZED?
So the boss of KH3 is going to be human Xehanort?
Isn't there a proper order for the heartless and nobody to be killed for that to happen?
Go go convoluted plot devices!
Yeah, the proper order is Heartless > Nobody. It went somewhat like this: if you kill the 1st one, the heart goes into a state of suspension, waiting for the Nobody to be defeated to regain it's original form. But if you kill the Nobody before heartless their body disappears into darkness and can't be rejoined by the heart later on.
I going to take a wild guess and say that Axel's heartless will be a boss in BBS2. Otherwise him being revived doesn't make sense otherwise.
Also, shouldn't this game thread be in the SE Game subsection?
That's a possibility too. With him being such a predominant character, it would be a waste if they choose to go that route. And while haters gonna hate, I actually liked 358/2. It made Axel's actions in KH2 make a lot more sense and have a bigger emotional impact for me as well

Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance Has A Multiplayer Dream Eater Battle Mode
http://www.siliconera.com/2012/01/17...ayers-to-find/The interview from Famitsu has a longer section for Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance, which reveals a wireless Dream Eater battle mode.
Dream Eaters are new critters in Kingdom Hearts 3D that players can train and fight with. The multiplayer mini-game will use a different battle system and these fights can upgrade Dream Eaters for the main story. Nomura says the game will use ad-hoc connectivity, which means its local play.
Concerning Organization XIII, Nomura said a secret about the hooded group will be revealed. Players will see Zexion, Lexaeus, and Axel in Kingdom Hearts 3D as humans with memories of their time being nobodies. A mysterious man wearing a black coat from Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep Final Mix will be in Kingdom Hearts 3D too.
Kingdom Hearts 3D Will Have A Secret Movie For Players To Find
Speaking with Famitsu, Tetsuya Nomura confirmed Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance will have a secret movie. Like the secret movie in Re:Coded, it will connect to the next game in the Kingdom Hearts series. He told the magazine this ending will have a shocking revelation.
The regular ending, Nomura says, will be a different direction from the rest of the series.
In Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance, players control Sora and Riku who are taking the Mark of Mastery Exam to become Keyblade Masters. Worlds in this game are sleeping and players need to wake them up, with the help of Dream Eaters, to restore them.
Nomura also mentioned Japan will get a second downloadable demo of Theatrhythm: Final Fantasy. The first demo included one song from Final Fantasy VI.
Olivia Wilde in my Kingdom Hearts? Day 1 buy.
....yeah, the odds of her actually voicing her character are slim to none in the NA release, but regardless, the game looks pretty amazing and a lot of the fighting looks to not only take the good stuff from BBS, but expand on it too
Wasn't particularly interested in this but God damn it's hard not to get excited at KH trailers. The CGI cutscene looks badass and the gameplay looks fun, even though the new enemy types look retarded as hell. This'll no doubt be purchased the day I pick up a 3DS, but it's still not enough to convince me to pick up the system alone.
Fuck yeah, I wouldn't want my KH games any other way. Easy mode. Then again when has KH been hard? Amirite?Features,
• "Free-flow" action – Enjoy fast and effortless movements while interacting with the environment and performing acrobatic attacks.
Not particularly impressed by the gameplay, it seems like this game tries too hard in showing all the tricks and gimmicks the 3DS has at its disposal.
The plot seems surprisingly solid though, especially for a spin-off KH.
Just saying. And subs
Going to take a wild guess and say the Heartless with the cloak is the Unknown from BBS. Or that young Xehanort...but that was 10 years ago- time travel, right.
But...Vantias's 'original' form is supposed to be all black with big red eyes, before he took on the sora-like look.
