I would really like it if they made a movie in the future that explains the depth of the Dark Phoenix more. That was pretty much the only interesting thing about Xmen 3.

These people need to get over it. The movies are no different from when Marvel started up the Ultimate Marvel Universe in the comics. Stop going to the damn movies expecting them to be true to the original comic lore and realize that they are essentially in their own version of the Marvel universe.

Hopefully the X4 movie Singer is making after First Class will have something to do with the Phoenix storyline again. I can't imagine that he's going to just leave things the way Ratner did at the end of X3.

Wow, was hoping this wouldn't turn out to be shit. Seems very promising. Will definitely be checking this out next week. Always loved XMen. I didn't start out the comic route but grew up watching the animated series back on Fox.

Going to see it this weekend. I'm a huge X-men fan (yes, I have actually read the comics) and I always get so psyched when one of the movies is about to come out. I was pessimistic about it for a while cause of all the changes but some of those reviews people posted are really encouraging.

This movie was so bad! I cannot believe how boring it was, and how many of the action scenes were ripped straight out of the previous movies! The Eric/Charles dynamic was interesting (barely), and Beast looked like a Jim Henson puppet. I am so glad I saw this for free.

This movie added nothing to the franchise, and frankly I think that Spiderman 3 was better. It hurts me to say it.

This was freaking awesome! Almost makes up for the complete bastardization of the Dark Phoenix storyline that douchebag Ratner put together.

Loved the relationships they played off throughout the movie and how things gradually started to change between Xavier and his first recruit and somewhat adopted sister Mystique. And then there was Xavier's accidental crippling at the end by Magneto. Very nicely made change there showing how he ends up crippled this time around. Though I would have liked to see them add some scene between Moria and Banshee considering how they end up years later.

Kevin Bacon was surprisingly good as Shaw as well though I almost thought the character could have just as easily been turned into Sinister. And quite a few cameos as well including Wolverine and the father of William Stryker along with some other young but recognizable future X-Men. Fassbender was incredible as Magneto throughout the movie which included some cool scenes of him using his powers and the guy who played Beast was perfect in the human form for the character. Not to sure how much I liked his Beast look though to be honest.
