Movie was amazing. Really a must see. An awesome reboot that obviously didn't care about cannon, and that made it 10x better.

I think it looks terrible. So either it is terrible and you're all high or they did a piss poor job at advertising it and I'll have to check it out.

Basically the advertising is shit. From what Vaughn was saying he had between little and no influence on the promotion of it. But as I said before, with his involvement with Snatch, Layer Cake, Lock Stock, and Kickass, I imagined it would be pretty good.

Ya I think comic movies should exist kinda in their own universe like Ultimate series.

I also thought it was awesome because of the fact that they didn't care to remain cannon to the comics.

    Also,
    Spoiler: show
    wolverine cameo was amazing.

My new favorite superhero movie lol. It was awesome. All the characters were portrayed well and I even read somewhere that there was overacting which I did not see once. Good story, awesome chemistry between characters I would definitely go see again. Oh and next time i'll listen to The_OG_Nelta lol. I stood with the rest of the audience despite his warning of nothing happening at the end of the credits.

Speaking of Cameos, I missed Stan Lee in this one, where was he?

He's actually not in this one, oddly enough.

Thats fine by me Stan Lee can eat a dick. He rode Jack Kirby's coat tails all the way to fame.

I thought it was a really good film

    Spoiler: show
appreciated a lot of the little things: the young mutants seen in cerebro, rebecca romijn as the older jennifer lawrence, wolverine, etc etc
Wished Emma Frost's character was fleshed out a bit more, but Kevin Bacon was great as Shaw.

I went in ready to hate it and skeptical of all the good reviews, and I'm glad I was wrong. The movie as a whole was great.

There felt like there really was some friendship between Xavier and Erik, and makes it all the more tragic from what follows.
    Spoiler: show
Especially when Xavier was teaching Erik how to fully control his power. When Xavier saw into Erik's mind and helped bring out the memory of his mom. My favorite moments in the movie were Xavier helping all the mutants gain control over their abilities actually.

Some of the effects were a little wonky. The metal bending and Emma Frost's diamond form were a little odd looking, but nothing all that bad. Probably going to buy it when it comes out.

I haven't seen this movie yet. I plan to Sunday morning. I've heard the same about the effects for Emma Frost, but man, nothing can be worse than the effects in Wolverine.

Some reminded me of the bathroom scene where he was playing with his claws, but nothing too distracting for too long.

how bad were the effects in wolveirne? I only ever saw the prerelease version where half the effects were missing anyways, and made it hilarious.

This is why you should get the best app eva for your smartphone: Run Pee. The app will tell you the best time to go pee during a movie and even has a synopsis of what little you did miss while you were out. But the best feature is that it will also tell you if there is anything during the closing credits.

I paid $1 when it first came out for the iPhone. It's free now.
