They talked about it then, sure, but as the OP (which is dated to before the last minor update) says, they intended for this change to be a part of the next major update. This of course is the update coming this week.

I, for one, will be pretty disappointed if this adjustment isn't included, but I have a feeling it won't have a teaser and that it will just be in the list of things adjusted in the update notes on the day of the update itself/\.

I'm with you guys, I really hope these changes are made, setting atmas with 2 characters and dealing with the lag at the NPC makes me rage mode.
