I still haven't signed up for that powercard thing, think it'll be worth it? I trade maybe 4 games at most a year, right now anyway. I usually hold onto the stuff I buy. I picked up blops a week after release because I figured most people would hate it. Which they did but they kept playing.

Im going to be honest, I raaaarely buy shit. Ya I run the show, but I simply don't have time. I still got it. The B2G1F coupon you get when you buy it is worth it. Ended up buying 3 New releases, used, with it. Overall though, the email communications have been worth the cost. They have some cool "steals of the week" and other coupons like that, exclusive to memebers. Last one was get gears for free when you buy gears 2. Gears2 was like $10... fuck ya ill take that....

Now with this COD thing going on? Ya its worth it.

Plus Game Informer is pretty B.A. Its rare to find something in a magazine that you havent already seen online, and they seem to deliver that, every month.

Infinity Ward, the studio behind Call of Duty and Modern Warfare, is leaving its previously used game engine technology behind for Modern Warfare 3. Will that put an end to cracks about the developer using Quake III Arena-era tech?

While those digs against Infinity Ward may have been unfair and inaccurate—its in-house IW Engine has been regularly updated and refined over the years—the next Call of Duty game appears to leave its id Tech 3 legacy behind.

"We haven't gone into detail on the engine yet but we've moved beyond the [Modern Warfare 2] engine and added a lot of cool stuff for [Modern Warfare 3]," writes Infinity Ward creative strategist Robert Bowling on Twitter.

We'll see what that looks like tonight, when Activision and Infinity Ward release Modern Warfare 3's first gameplay trailer.

What exactly does this even mean? Is it that developed a new engine completely or just refined a new engine? I hadn't heard anything about using the quake engine though that woulda been cool. Maybe add some flair with destructible environments like BF is greatly advertising.
