Elite is the selling point. $40 more for a $50 service (its going to be $60 later) that gives you all the maps for a year, and DLC. Plus Juggernaut avatar item

What are you planning for your store's release this time?

I have a LOT of new cop friends. State and local. All the local cops shop here. I'm trying to get a SWAT group to bring gear and vehicles and do some public serivce stuff at the same time. Trying to make some military contacts too. I'm still new to the area.

Also have an agreement with Aarons electronics. Decking the place out expo style to play some TDM and Spec Ops like my last MW launch.

Amazon upgraded to RDD onm all forms of MW3. Still plenty of hardened left there.

EB games in canada (gamestop canada) and they are saying they are limited to 25 per store (in most locations) my closest store only has 3 spots left available for hardened preorder (im going to grab one of those slots now)

they are also doing a midnight release whereas the other stores in my region are not so ya just thought i would throw that out

I'd be fucked if we were limted to orders. We have nearly 700 orders already, over 100 on hardened. Expecting 1200 total

ya i was surprised to hear that they limited preorders but then again the population of the city i'm in is only around 60k and they've had issues with guaranteeing preoders in the past. with 5 EB games in the city/region thats only 125 preorders pretty weak overall figure if you ask me.

Yep, I preordered mine over a week ago and there was only 2 left.

Damn... I was kind of hoping I could laugh at the suckers waiting in a two hour line at Gamestop while I waltz into Walmart for my Hardened edition copy. However, it seems that it won't be sold in most stores

midnight release? yes... or longer, easily 200-300+ people(male and female) who waited in line for Black Ops, I expect more for MW3. I was like number 7 in line last year

For those that didn't get in on preorder, or don't want to wait in line. Costco usually gets a few hundred copies of the game for each system, and has them on release date. My store had around 700 xbox and 500 ps3 copies of blackops when it came out. We don't get the LE or deluxe or whatever editions, but the normal editions of the games are always 5-10$ cheaper than retail. I wont know until a few days before the actual release, but I can check our shipping for our store and all the others in the region to see if we'll actually have it ready on release day.

2 hours is if you show up at 10-1030 to finish paying and get your receipt stamped, then go camp in line. I like to go by at 10, get stamped, and come back at like 12:15 or so depending on the game, no waiting, etc.

i just realized that i wont even be near an xbox from nov7-12 so i wont even bother preordering and will just pick a hardened copy up then

My black ops took 16min to hand 650 copies out. Triple line method ftw. Hardened for 360 is out. Ps3 still available. elites are preorderable though. $50 for elite until the end of the year then its $60. Get elite the first week, the founder status will be worth it, plus you save $10
