I much prefer the hipfire in MW2. It's just broken in black ops comparatively.

i'd be pumped to play that
Hipfire improvements mean if you're ambushed by some fag camping in a corner you still have a good chance of countering their superior ADS. Compare this to MW2 where you were basically at their mercy.
Eh I'd disagree. I rarely sprayed in MW2 so I'd just ADS on the guy since I always used SoHP except in certain situations. To me in black ops makes it so that a person from halfway across the map can hipfire at me and kill me in less bullets than if I were ADS'd. I've been killed many times halfway across by people hipfiring.
it's especially retarded in hardcore, I just slap on the MP5 and can hipfire from retarded far, all I need to connect is one too :/
Ghost is spillin beans

The voice of Modern Warfare 2's Ghost has dropped strong hints that the series' next instalment will be announced this month - possibly within the week.
Asked on talkSPORT this weekend about his Call of Duty work, Craig Fairbrass - who provided his voice for both Modern Warfare games - said he's "just been out in LA doing something that's going to be announced in May."
He said: "I did Call of Duty: Modern Warfare as Gaz and then I did Ghost in Modern Warfare 2, which has become one of the most iconic figures in the history of computer games, which is great.
"And I've just been out in LA doing something that's going to be announced in May... I've just been out there doing some bits and pieces and one of it's to do with... I can't say too much."
Fairbrass's claim falls in line with Activision's imminent first quarter 2011 financial results, which is set to happen in less than a week next Monday (May 9).
With the second and latest Black Ops DLC released this morning as well, it's seemingly the perfect time to announce the next instalment, which is rumoured to be in development at Infinity Ward, Raven and Sledgehammer.
Quizzed further on the work of voicing a Modern Warfare character, Fairbrass called the process "incredible".
"You do like five, six, seven sessions and they record it in this great big studio in Los Angeles, which is absolutely mental," he said.
"I was out there from January to the end of February [and] Activision took me to their hub, I was a guest for the day, and they took me all around and they showed me the game - you know, these games are like $200 million to produce.
"It's incredible. This place was like the size of 10 factories, there was all these people working."
It's previously been rumoured that Modern Warfare 3 will take the shape of a prequel, starring Fairbrass's character Ghost.
Prequel? Seriously? And I thought Activision needs a written consent from Jason and Vince to make MW3
Pretty sure cash will make them sign.
I used to be zomg COD, but Battlefield looks pretty boss this year.
BC3 will destroy CoD this year, and hopefully put it back in it's place.
Yeah lol, it seems like they've made it even worse lately, yesterday using the PSG1 on SnD, 2 guys rush me with shotguns using steady aim, i was using hardened, i hip fire 1 and kill him, spin around and hipfire the other guy, that sholudn't happen
Lol very much doubt it, Battlefield always looks very promising from the footage they release and the like, but then when the game comes out it's terrible. Hoping this time will be different but they don't fill me with confidence of making good console multiplayer. :/
Hopefully that's what Activision are worrying about too, so that they step up their game. Please not shitty Treyarch engine, please no ridiculous super soldiers, please no 2 shot ARs that can outsnipe .50 cals, please more realism. THANKS.
Call of Duty gun get raped.
I'm a bit of a "casual" in the sense that most games I can play pretty intently for a couple months then kind of lose interest, so I imagine I'll still pick it up whenever I get done with BF3/Halo remake if it comes out.
I think the BF3 is going to be a very very pretty single player but mw3 will probably my go to game for multiplayer

I think that's probably what would bother me the most about buying BF. Is the uncertainty of how the MP modes are going to play. I don't expect a MW sequel/prequel any time soon because of all the legal red tape they have to go through though so we might have a awhile to experiment with BF.
BF2 was amazing... But it was on the PC and it didn't have to compete with MW1. I really like the look of it, but I think Tekki might be onto something...
BF3 looks fucking tight, but I will more than likely get this at release too.![]()
MP mode in BF2 was more about having fun with friends for me. You can actually play together and blow shit the fuck up with assault class's ammo restore and c4/rpgs/tubes. Flying helicopters, driving tanks, etc is a ton of fun if you're laughing it up with friends. CoD with friends has always been all of you playing alone, basically, and being able to talk to eachother - mostly about how everyone's glitching and how awesome that last kill of yours was.
I'm betting BF3 is going to be more "fun" but MW3 is where I'm going to go to play for my own enjoyment. I also imagine BF3's going to get really stale after unlocking everything, while CoD will still have its replayability because the multiplayer is really good.
