The fact that the Giants still had a chance to enter the playoffs had Green Bay lost, after our ridiculous shit this season, should kinda showed they squeaked into the playoffs. Doesn't mean they weren't favored after entering it, but don't act like they solidified a playoff birth with ease like the Falcons or Patriots.

But the Packers play tough football so they're like an AFC team really.

Just always seems like stadiums push the "maximum patrons" and adding 15,000 more seats is just...... too much?

I'm sure additional seats have been added before, but probably not in the tens of thousands.

I'm calling it right now, people WILL be turned away from going inside the stadium that actually have reserved seats. Jerry oversold the first ever game in Cowboys Stadium just to say he had over 100,000 people at a regular season game. I remember thinking it was weird that there were several spots in the lower bowl empty all game long and the next morning reports were released that people with reserved seats were told they couldn't be let in due to fire code.

Basically, all the "party pass" people in the standing room spots filled the place up first and the fire chief said no more. So the people coming in right before kickoff with their high dollar seats got fucked.

So either Jerry got the fire code "re-evaluated" or the history is going to repeat itself.

I don't think even Jerry is dumb enough to potentially have empty seats showing during the Super Bowl of all things. I remain optimistic, but he can't be that stupid. Capitalizing on people willing to pay to stand and watch the game rather than stay at home and watch it for free can only go so far...right?
