I completely forgot that we had a thread for this game. This game was amazing! so much fun. My friends and I went back to their booth and replayed it at least 4 or 5 times at E3. The action was great and the chaos was really entertaining. Mathilda was my favorite character. When you activate her flame power or whatever it is called you can take out several people at the same time by groundslamming with her spikey bat.

I had a chance to play this at E3 as well and had alot of fun with it, its not something I'll buy day one but I will pick it up at some point.

Delayed again until July 3rd...

Sega today announced a delay in the release of Anarchy Reigns, Platinum Games’ third-person multiplayer brawler, initially set to launch in January. A teasing delay.

“Anarchy Reigns brings a new take to the brawler genre and we’ve decided to take a little more time to deliver the full knockout punch. I can’t reveal much now, but it’s something to do with scale. Let’s just say traditional one on one or two versus two fighters will be a thing of the past…” said Gary Knight, Senior Vice President of Marketing at Sega West.

Anarchy Reigns will now launch for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on July 3, 2012 in the U.S., on July 6 in Europe, and on July 5 in Australia.

Famitsu reveals this week that Bayonetta will appears as a playable character in Anarchy Reigns (or Max Anarchy as it's known in Japan).

We don't have details beyond this at present. Anarchy Reigns is due for Japanese release in July.
