I don't think Ashton Kutcher would get paid nearly the same amount as Charlie Sheen did for this show. I watched it, its funny sometimes but not great. I'll prolly watch a few episodes when it comes back, but I'm not expecting it to be good.

Hmm, I wonder how they're going to spin the Sheen exit and the Kutcher entrance. I don't know why they just don't kill the show entirely. I'll watch an episode or two at the beginning of the season, but unless it's brilliant I won't bother. I barely watched the original anyway.

Ever since we reported that Ashton Kutcher was taking over for Charlie Sheen in Two and a Half Men, there has been a bunch of speculation about how the No. 1-rated sitcom would continue. CBS Entertainment President Nina Tassler revealed details about the new character and storyline. The LA Times reports that Kutcher will play "Walden Schmidt, an Internet billionaire with a broken heart." His character will be introduced "in a two-part season premiere."

Tassler had this to say, "Who could have predicted that we would be here six months ago? Our whole focus right now is moving forward." Kutcher was not available for questions from reporters, at the tour. The popular show is currently in production, it did it's first table read earlier this week and is due to shoot the season premiere on Friday. Tassler talked about the energy during the table read saying, "When everyone walked on that set on Monday, you could cut the air with a knife," Tassler said. "Do you pay extra special attention to the first season? Absolutely." There has been talk that the premiere episode will open with the funeral of Sheen’s character, Charlie Harper, Tassler declined to confirm that rumor at this time.

The only good thing I liked Ashton in is the 70's show playing as a dumbass. I don't see this show being as popular when Charlie was there.

If this is true, for the love of god they need to bring back Seinfeld.

Not saying this show is bad, it's just meh. I can think of so many sitcoms back in the day that would rape the shit out of it.

idk why this sounds so funny to me lol

but seinfeld is the best show that ever existed!

right now curb isnt a sitcom, but its the #1 show on TV as of right now, imo

I hate to get all PMish but it took me two weeks to get Trinsie to watch an episode. He is George in every way. Got him to watch the Soup Nazi episode. He didn't like it. Must mean he doesn't like himself.

OMG he really is. he is so cheap!!! remember that story he told us on vent when he accidentally killed that dog from alcohol poisoning? it was the only time i ever laughed at an animal actually dying, but he had me in tears laughing

It was nice to see some of the chicks Charlie banged over the years and some of the cameos. Dharma and Greg thing was really funny.
If the show makes it half way through the season it be surprising but what do you expect when you put entire focus of the series solely on one character.
