Yes and when they had her on again she gave me some pride and even more hope for their revolution. And how they cannot trust their own government and how Hilary Clinton`s word meant nothing to them at all. They have my full support and if the Nobel Prize for Journalism was worth anything it`ll go to AlJazeera for giving people real news and continuing to report when a regime arrested their reporters and shut off their communication.

and right about now I wish I still had cable(canceld that mess months ago) just to watch the LinkTV feeds.

I wonder if there is any links online to the biased Egyptian TV that Mubarak broadcasts on?

@wahiguard I really hope all of the news stations take notice at the quality of the work that AJaz did during and after their journalists were fired by Egypt Gov, kicked out of their building, licenses pulled and forced to report in no name style. I know some stations supported them by airing the story about them getting kicked out and denouncing the Egypt Gov for doing it. Earlier this week they had to totally rely on AlJaz for their news video. Hopefully they will be nominated for their work.

My hope, is that the people have the mind to not even kill the bastard. Frog march him to the airport, throw him out and never let him back in.
As amazing as these people have been, it might just be possible.

Possibly, but hey, last half century saw a man on the moon, the fall of the Berlin wall, the end of apartheid, and the birth of the internet.
I wouldn't call it just yet, humanity can amaze as much as it can disappoint.

I believe this is the state TV site: http://www.sis.gov.eg/En/Default.aspx There's a link to "Live TV" but the site itself seems to be fairly slammed but I'm also not sure if the feed is even available in english or sub as I only got fragments of it and what ever's on now doesn't seem to be relevant to the situation.

It was last week (until...Thursday? I forgot exactly when). Then it started on irrelevant stuff, and seemingly has not turned back since.

Sunrise in Egypt now on AJaz.

AlJazeng reporter expressing surprise while reading American headlines and how they openly blame Mubarak for the thugs because AJ has made a point of saying "alleged".

I really do not like all the Muslim fear mongering. From hearing the people in Tahrir (sp?) Square I feel the young people have an idea of what to do and know any religious run government couldnt work they just want basic secular human rights and employment.

It's essentially televised denial of everything we've watched over the past day and a half; insofar that it has carried on as if nothing was going on.

Islamic fundamentalism/Muslim fear mongering is what "sells"/gives America's relatively broad-based right-wing power; you probably could not convince the average American that there's potential for secular government in the Middle East because of how intense and widespread their shit is. Sand people, Allah, etc. = key words.

Yes, the original fliers passed out when they had no internet to organize for the protest called for all religions and non to make it clear that it was for democracy.

Lots of people recieving text messages from Vodafone, imploring people to "listen to reason and confront the anti-government protesters." Of course, this just pisses the revolutionaries off more.

Unclear; though it could suggest corporate collaboration with Mubarak... given the nature of his rule, i'm sure business interests have allied themselves with his regieme. So maybe it's more unclear really to what extent they're collaborating with Mubarak, though given that the texts are seemingly -from- Vodafone, it's suggesting they're wholly in bed with the regieme.
