Hossam Badrawi the new leader of the NDP has resigned and said that Egypt needs new parties.
Sky are saying that the statement is expected to be Defense Minister Tantawi tell the people that effectively he's in charge of the coutry now. But last night's statement didn't turn out how everyone expected.
