I wonder what the main event will be. Probably comes down to SF or MvC.

Apparently they wanted to feature KoF, but SNK Playmore didn't get back to them. Some fucked up things going there if rumors are true(closing down game division).

EDIT: I think Evo needs to be restructured to fit its growth. It is a mega-event like the Olympics of videogames, so naturally it should have two main stages. If the growth can support it(we will probably see this year), then that is the direction they should go in I think.

EDIT: I also see the "power of the people" slowly be striped away as Evo gets bigger and bigger. That's just the natural course of things.

EDIT: One more thing, a sick part of me kind of hopes MK9 is absurdly broken overall-bad game(which is to say... unsurprisingly so?). This goes in hand with what I was just saying with "power of the people". They once did a Brawl tournament where they didn't consult any SSB player and it blew up in their face. These little lessons are nice to have.

Mortal Kombat will suck and who ever plays that shit competitively should feel bad about themselves. Marvel and SF are the only games that matter.
