Just quoting on some HNMLSs all over different servers quoting that everything is becoming a total joke to beat in terms of skill and stating that the entire "noob" population of FFXI can beat anything in the game now. I took a bit offense to this remark as to saying any player is capable of beating everything. First thing I notice is all the people making this quote of beating everything are doing it with 18 people or so. So if a group of 6 can beat let's say Glavoid or Rani (without brews of course, I don't count that as a fair play item), that means it's childs play or brainless? I do most events with 6-8 people and pretty much take about 80% of the end game content but it does require a lot of dedication and focus to do HNMs with so few. Granted the lvl cap has made things easier but I do not believe that because you can beat HNMs with a few people doesn't mean it's less skilled. More people = less skilled due to that fact you can just throw bodies at the NM till the cows come home until it dies. Less people = more margin of error and losing a member can be quite pivotal which imo merits more skilled and more focused. Also FFXI imo has been the greatest it has ever been. The way it used to be was extremely biased and less fair. Is it because these LSs cannot monopolize all HNMs that means things are worse cause it's not only in their favor? Feel free to reply to this post. I know this is a rant but I had to share my thoughts as hearing this over and over from end game LSs is getting a bit annoying and I wanted to speak my voice.
