Back when I had only one machine, I too ran Windows exclusively. But I like to tinker and fuck with shit, building ftp servers, PBX boxes and Trix boxes, fucking around with Open BSD outside of work etc.

Just sayin'. Demo understands.

I'm thinking of buying a PS3 and jailbreaking it to install Ubuntu on it. Seems like a cheap $300.00 eight core computer for running Ubuntu. I'll keep my laptop for the Windows convince.

I don't see how you don't. Wine and Cegeda are good emulators but they're still just emulators. If you know of something better than I'm all ears.

You say emulators in a way that might be a misnomer. All your hardware works the same way it would in windows.
