I'm not judging you, I'm all for having fun when there is fun to be had, but have some self-insight. You're not some victim in this case. You made a very poor choice. Consequences are what happens when you make poor choices. And rest assured, that the poorness of it was in fact very evident from the start.
To be compassionate in this situation would be admitting you are too dumb to have known better, and for your own sake, I do hope that is not the case.
