First patch is going to be underwhelming probably. As they happen twice a month now the 'content' needs to stack up before we start seeing a real difference on the whole. One patch like this is nothing, but 12 for example? Although the skill point adjustment could have some larger consequences already.

The language they used had me wondering if this was the patch or if it was some kind of preparatory maintenance.

Either way if it's just the UI and market tweaks and party xp changes they've mentioned, while all good, isn't enough to make me log back in.

As long as SP adjustment is good, the update will be good, no matter how little of it there may be.

I can't imagine what they could do to this sp system to make it good without making it too easy. We'll see I guess.

Did you get 41 pug before the per mob SP change or something.

Post 30 gets ridiculously low SP.

I was like 33 or something when they changed it to the SP system we have now. I liked the old system but we know they aren't going to do that one, so what else is there that would work other than raising exp for hard mobs, but even then you probably will be better off killing easy shit quickly. -.-

They could introduce SP chains to increase SP gain over time without having to actually drastically increase mob SP values.

i loved the idea of SP chains, that plus fixing how unclaimed mobs doesnt gives SP would make this game kind of fun, a 15man dungeon raid, killing everything on the way, using AoE WS, mages will be busy enough to keep ppl alive, and sleeping mobs.. sorta like dynamis.

Yeah that's true, also every time a motherfucker flees in a levequest it will usually turn white and reset your claim on it.

I find it more of a headache when you don't get SP on a red mob since you didn't attack it, or it at least seems like that. Normally not a problem on leves, but in large behest groups...

Really hope the SP fix delivers. Sad days since November when they killed normal sp pts.

They don't have another 6 months to fix this game. These next few patches need to deliver.
