Tidus is definitely a personal thing. Lots of people have the HURRDURR/V/mentality and over react, but the VA in FFX wasnt all that bad. Yeah the HAW HAW HAW Scene is bad, but it's MUCH WORSE when taken out of context, like it always is.

Also Yuna is definitely retarded.

FFX is my favorite FF game, by the way.

FFXII is my favorite offline Final Fantasy. It was not my first.
I enjoyed most of the FF games simply because they were what I wanted to play at the time, however, I don't really think the Final Fantasy games are very good games by any means. They are very simple games in nearly every since of the word. Simple gameplay, simple characters, simple stories. A good way to pass the time when you can't think of much better to do. I've had fun with every game in the series

technically the last boss of ffx was that guy inside sin or whatever, and you couldnt even fucking die to him, super gay (i wont pretend to remember what his name was or plot details, dont wanna leroy it up)

the last boss of 9 was at least somewhat challenging, and trance kuja was a straight up boss with awesome music
