Why not? Sincere question since I don't know the specifics. I would assume that if it was capable of playing PS3 games and PS1 games it would be capable of PS2 games. If it's as qalbert says (and not just an SE joke) why is it hardware limitations?

It can't software emulate PS2 games. They removed the hardware that let you do so in the past, so now it's not capable.

Idk if it was ever posted in this thread but it was in the FFXII IZJS thread a long time ago.

This version was customized to have the JP voices, but the default option for English text/subs is still there.

Lame, I never actually played it I just had it bookmarked in case I ever wanted to.

Ironically enough, one of the reasons I didn't feel like playing it was because you can't skip cutscenes in X.

Unless it's an FMV I havent seen yet there isnt. I've been playing it dubbed the entire time.

Also, are you implying that you wouldnt use the undub?
