I actually just found him by accident. He's under the bridge when you're walking up the first path from firelink to the depths (where the guy that sells the curse items). Gotta run and jump and carefully get to him, lol.

Oh right the Crystal Ring Shield. Well that one is the one that you actually throw all Cap'n America style. It just did 720 DMG so yes it is true. Keep in mind every throw takes 4 durability away from its 120 max. So you should use it sparingly. Despite having Crystal in its name though it is repairable. It is also a slow as shit animation to throw it, probably takes longer than Fireball from start to finish.

Give me a bit, I'll upgrade a weapon real quick and find out.

Edit: it takes 7 Large Shards to level it up from +7 to +10, after that, I'm not sure if you need 3 more Large Shards or 1 Chunk to make it into NQ Lightning.

Edit: Bah, double, and Rag, I don't exactly remember what that item was, but if you can't pick it up it's probably one of the items you can only have one of, like the Binoculars.

I got summmoned 3 times in 30min once. one time when I was fighting the butterfly and i forgot i had the ring on. All depends on who's in your online lobby wreaking havoc in the forest.

The pendant never seemed to do anything. All I've read is you give it to the crow for that witch ring

She gives you a Souvenir of Reprisal for it, she gives you the Witch's Ring when you trade her a Sunlight Maggot.

And yeah, that's the only use for the Pendant.

There is no Bonfire unfortunately, you die, you go back to Firelink. =/
