Not sure if this was mentioned, but for those having trouble getting the Ring of Fog from Forest Covenant for whatever reason, or those that prefer playing offline, if you trade the Skull Lantern (from Tomb of the Giants) to Snuggly, you can get a Ring of Fog that way too.

I shot of his tail and got the sword, now that I'm farming the area a tiny bit before moving on, i noticed he will sometimes jump down, and start walking up and down the path, so I can run up from the NPC on the other end, fire an arrow or two, and run down before he barbecues me, unless I mess up. But I don't really get enough time to take a good look at his HP bar, beyond watching the damage number pop up above it as I am running for the continuation of my undead existence.
Did anyone kill it and know if it can actually be done, a la the dragon above the entrance to the false king in Demons Souls?

(I am more inclined to trust BG than random google on this one, woe be unto me)

*edit* Red Dragon. You're supposed to kill it from a nearby tower that has a Black Knight on it. Not me though. I still can't get the dragon to show up on my screen. Ringing the bells didn't do shit. I just gor the Lordvessel last night and he still won't show up.

Frame rate issues are all over the place at certain parts of the game, and Blighttown is notorious for it; the worst I've ever experienced though was when I was using Great Fireballs on the Zombie Dragon in Valley of the Drakes. I was spamming the spell, trying to get it dead before it killed me, and the next thing I knew, my screen had frozen, but I could still hear the game, and hear myself moving around and casting, and the dragon attacking. Out of not knowing what was going on, I instinctively backed my character up, and after a few seconds, I saw the worst screen tearing I'd ever seen in a game. It fixed itself after a few more moments, but damn it was bad.

Fell through the ground and died when walking through a fog gate.

Hellkite Dragon comes back if you approach the other end of the bridge, opposite of where he perches (or always has for me, at least). Also, where was this hole drop fog gate at?

This happened to me at one of the fog gates in the forest.

I occasionally get this soft yellow glow around my character's head along with a quick sound effect. Anyone know what it is? I thought it was people rating my messages at first but I wasn't getting any humanities and nothing showed up on my message logs.

And I know another place where you can fall through. At least the mobs can/do quite frequently. At the bottom of the catacombs, where you first enter the area with all the wheel skeletons, They'll charge at you and they just go right through the wall and die. I didn't try to make myself go through it as I'd rather not die.

Anyone know how to make that she-bird sitting on a perch at the top of the tower come down in painted world? Can only farm 3 at a time otherwise, even if I shoot it it does nothing

I feel like thats one of the ones that jumps you later on in the level, once you go through the Annex door. That or it's just glitched.

Tried everything, it was coming back for awhile, then just stopped. Someone said they patched it to not come back (as it apparently would respawn even after people killed it sometimes?)

I've tried running from the very beginning where you start and walking through the archway, 10x or so, restarting my game, coming from under the stairs etc.....

freaking annoying, the one fomor type thing I needed to kill that drops loot, I kill all of them, and the one I want to kill rolls of the edge as I approach....

Pyro people with +15 Hands, have you tried to upgrade from the cloaked pyromancer in Blighttown? It looks like she can upgrade it with a boss soul possibly.
I'd try it, but I only have +11, and I need to farm like 100k souls just to buy all the spells from her.
edit: dunno why i didnt just wiki it. Yeah, you can upgrade it 5 more times, just money though, no specific souls

You don't need any boss souls, just giving her a bunch of regular souls is enough to upgrade it. It then goes to +5 after that and maxes out at 270 magic adjust. Takes a bunch of souls to do though (like 25~30k per level at that point).
