I heard you can farm red titanite off the giant centipede things in demon ruins. I've been trying and so far no drop for me i've only killed about 8-10 so far though.

Question, running by the Undead Parrish on my way to the forest, found a item in the area where the Tower Knight used to be. Gave me 7 Humanity and a Pendant. I know the Pendant is a trade in item for the crow, but what caused those things to spawn?

Petrus killed your Rhea Who is a pretty awesome miracle vendor, and teaches you a gesture. Basically after you encounter her in the Tomb of the Giants, and beat Nico, you MUST warp to Firelink, and then go DIRECTLY to the undead Parish to talk with her. If you visit two other areas in a row, she'll be gone forever. 's sad.

The Chaos Bugs in the "secret" shortcut also drop them, and are much easier to kill.

Does anyone know where the mob that drops the sunlight maggot helm is? I was heading to Tomb next and that would be nice to have... but for all I know it is after the Tomb.

Lol. I was stuck at this part for awhile. I finally came back after a few hours and did a complete search of the area and found there's a tunnel to the left. It's hard as hell to see cause the walls just blend with eachother.

yeah, found it right before you posted. Just trying to figure out wtf to do with these dinosaur things. I could arrow them all to death when theyre stuck in a hole to small for them, but I think I'll just try to run through

Lol I would laugh hysterically if they made those high lvl black phantoms invade anyone with an obviously glitched SL, like they did with people who got the game early. Also finally made it past all those Minos and Capra demons, which weren't even the hard part. Try dealing with those damned worms as a melee only character... How does the rating system work on messages exactly? Every time I give a -1 to a troll-message it just gets a +1 instead when I view it after.

I also beat the gargoyles on my first try again today. Piss easy when you get the first one dead before the second arrives.....



Also, should I buy the tools that one smither near the church has? I can't tell if they're usable at all bonfires, or limited to the one you set it at.

What are Chaos Bugs? I immediately assumed the little red bugs that hang out in the room a little bit before the 3rd bonfire in Demon Ruins. Like the one that drops Sunlight Maggot.
Edit: never mind. Got a red chunk from them.

@Souj: If you're not able to run pass them, best way that worked for me was making them jump and dodging right as they land then cutting its right leg(your left). I normally took them out with one combo, but that was with Lightning Iaito+5.

Oh good idea. I haven't yet I'm SL 40 and I'm about to do the spider boss soon. I'm just farming souls atm for my ascended Pyromancy thing it's Ascended+3 atm. After I get it to +5 I'm going to betray the Forest Covenant and kill the ninja and his buddy for the flip ring and sword.

I was having trouble until I realised I could just pull three at a time and get them to kill each other while I kite lol.
