If you come from the room where Avina is, for the Forest Hunter Covenant, and head left and follow the cliffside, you should stumble across her eventually; she's cloaked though, so you can't lock-on to her. Just be careful that she doesn't roll off the cliff to her death or you won't get the bow (that shit happened to me on my first playthrough.)

I think the area before Nito is the best spot to far for souls... a single baby drops only 121 souls, but i'm usually taking out 3-6 of them at a time with a single swing and they look to be infinitely respawning. They even drop humanity, but drop rate sucks real bad even with the ring. one downside is that it looks like it'll suck to get back here once I'm done killing Nito because I think the closest warpable bonfire is in Firelink...

Anyone have any recommendations for a STR build? I started out leaning towards that thinking it would scale decently but it isn't looking that way now. I'm up at SL50, just got out of Anor Londo and have a decent selection of weapons/armor to play with but I can't seem to find anything I really like to swing.

fuuuck, I'm going to have to leave Tomb of the Giants and come back. I need to make a Divine weapon so I can keep these skeletons dead so I can actually fight Nito. Which means I'm going to have to go all the way back through the catacombs and all the way through Tomb of the Giants again.

I'm not even sure I know how to make a divine weapon...

no need to make 1 if you have arrows and go to valley of drakes kill the undead dragoon theres 1 there if not mistaken

can you just arrow it like a giant pincushion? and will it get up near you to attack or does it even heal?

There's a few weapons that already have the divine property, you don't NEED to craft one. Silver Knight's Spear and Astora's Straight Sword are two you might already have.

so then I only need to gain 6 levels in faith so I can use it, which I guess i'll do on the baby skeletons.

and no, you cant arrow Nico to death. There's a large drop off that you have to fall off of to trigger Nico entering the area.
Which btw, is there a secret way to fall off that ledge without taking most of your hp?

yeah, you can cheese your way through undead dragon. Go to valley through New Lond or Blighttown and you can stand like 5 steps away from him and pelt him with arrows safely. You can also get the items he guards just by running right past him and grabbing them quickly. It's not even suicide.

Is there some trick to getting summoned as a helper more often? I've been sitting outside S&O's boss gate for over an hour and nobody has summoned me. Is there maybe a certain covenant that increases your odds of your sign being seen or something?

Is it a glitch that causes the humanity from the babies to disappear so fast? I've missed like 10 so far

Do weapons with Bleed300 (Iaito) retain that if used with Magic/Lightning or whatever spell? Getting into the planning phases of what kind of build I want to be now, and I feel like bleed has been carrying me forever. It's literally the only thing I do damage with, swings hit for like 30 -.-; Trying to figure out if I would need an alernate weapon when that kind of thing is needed, or if I can plan on using the spells with Iaito. Speaking of which, which imbue is considered best?

And I'm also assuming Iaito would lose the bleed300 if upgraded to Quelaags Furysword for the fire.. or is that an easy out?

I think it's because they respawn. Can't be looting a live mob. If anyone is interested I'm at the Smoughstein fight at SL 96 NG+ looking for some help.

can't upgrade iaito to the furysword, and the bleed question, i've been wondering the same thing. i think it does keep it however i haven't upgraded it to prove it
for fury sword, you'll want a +10 scimitar/fachion and i think the shotel works also
