There weren't any notes. The online is glitchy or something because half the time there's either 5 messages around me or there's nothing.
Now I have reached completely new level of bullshit however. Fucking knights and their javelins. This is nothing but bad level design. This is just shit. The whole Anor Londo is such a bland place. And those guards take forever to kill for like 500 souls? What a waste of life.
Maybe you are too low of a level or something. I just got to anor lando but it sounds like you are mighty mad. I have an iaito +10 and I wait for their shield bash, takes 1 and a half combos from there, pretty much. I go to those spear arrow knights, then died and figured I'd call it quits for the night, but I like the level designs so far and see nothing wrong with them. Sen's Fortress actually felt like a legitimate dungeon, with traps guillotine axes and stuff.
ugggggh
I forgot to ever cut Seaths tail off
I have every other item for the weapon trophy.
I'm too high of a soul level to get help for the fight now, and it takes more damage than I can do on NG+++ to cut the tail off by myself.
SADNESS
100% physical damage reduction, wtf are you going to parry in that fight?, higher stamina damage reduction, high lightning resist. It's the obvious choice for this fight.
Here's what I do to win: Halberd+10, Eagle Shield+6, ltg res ring or stamina ring, +20% health/end/equip ring, mix of gold-hemmed and stone armor making sure to stay below 50% equip. Lock onto O. Maintain S between you and O. Poke in when there is a clear opening after S attacks and you have high stamina, block everything. Backtrack around the column bases to help keep your distance and rearrange them if O advances on you. You will eventually chip away S with R1 attacks until he dies, don't bother even thinking about attacking O because that is wasted effort as he transforms and regains all his HP after S dies. Now that O is big run under his legs and spam 2 handed R2 attacks. Roll into him for every attack he does and they will all miss. The exception is when he jumps directly up to slam down with a ltg attack, just backpedal with your shield up or roll back and you'll take little to no damage for the entire second half of the fight.
You'll obviously need to change it up depending on what gear you have, but that strat killed this boss MANY times over pretty easily. General idea is to play distant and cautiously in the beginning to kill the big one off and then up close and aggressively to finish the job.
Grass Shield also doesn't block 100% physical damage.
lol tomb of giants is the most ridiculous thing in the world
It's a tower shield, high stability = less stamina lost on block = eats longer blockstrings without taking damage/being guardbroken. 75% Lightning resist doesn't hurt either
They were lazy with the physics, the direction you get knocked back isn't the opposite of where you got hit from, it's the opposite from where you were facing when you got hit. You can use that to keep getting pushed back along the wall (rather than off of it) until you can close in and force it to switch to melee. Then just kill it with spells or kick/block it off the ledge and you're done
so in lost izalith. do those big ass dinosaur fucks respawn if i kill them?
shit, 60k souls and 30 humanity gone![]()
Yeah I lost all my humanity trying to do Tomb of Giants after Catacombs boss. Said fuck it and went and bought all the sorceries from the chick behind Hydra. Got chameleon and boy is it fun to join as a phantom and play red light/green light with people. Hidden Body is cool too.
Other sorcerer bros: Does it not annoy you that the * Weapon spells require you to have your catalyst equipped in your defensive slot? I use my catalyst in the offensive slot, the only real solution is to wear a catalyst in both offensive and defensive slots which is fucking stupid. Makes the Hidden Weapon/Magic Weapon spells useless for me if I want to have a bow/arrow equipped or something, for example.
LOL izalith has killed me 10x or so cause he keeps sweeping me in the holes as i try to climb up to kill his heart.
What is that spell that turns peoples shields blue and makes me do 0 damage and how do I counter it?
You aren't even there yet. You'll see.
Two options: Either the AI makes the stupid knight roll to his death (and I succeed) or it doesn't (and I fail). Pretty shitty.
I don't have a problem with any other area in the game, but Londo is just too damn sterile.
Gotta say the boss fight made up for it, that was great with good music too (good way to test my new queelag's sword). And the reward for beating them was, at least initially, pretty awesome.
Alright what the shit, not sure if this was posted yet but someone beat the game in less than 1 hour and 30 minutes. The guy doesn't even bother with most bonfires to save time and does several boss fights without a shield and underleveled also, and does the entire thing was on a brand new character (the <1 hour Demon's Souls Playthrough was on a NG++ with the person being completely decked out on equipment).
Apparently Greater Magic Shield is bugged. it's giving full invulnerability to the player instead of just the shield.
