yes that's ornstein's armor, defeat him last to be able to purchase it

His lion helm is actually really good. The rest of his armor doesn't last too long since it can't be upgraded. Running with his lion helm, Elite Knight +9, Giants Gloves +1, and Elite Knight Legs +10 right now.

What's the best strat to kill a powered up dragon slayer ornstein? Took about half my my flasks just to kill the other guy with ornstein chasing me down and flying half way across the map. Seems like running through his legs will let you hit him a few times, but some times he does moves that destroy you if you try to do that. I'm a melee knight, just wondered if there were any better strats.

Because I have to kill smough guy first, it prevents me from summoning anyone to help even if I wanted to. (Unless someone from bg wants to throw up a summon flag or something) I'm level 80.

So, I'm guessing whoever told me that the bottom of Blighttown was accessible from Valley of Drakes was misinformed. I've fallen and died about 5 times now trying to make it that way. Once you get to the waterwheel, there are no more ladders and your only option is to fall.

No.... you roll onto the waterwheel... and then you roll off the waterwheel.

glad to see im not the only one that went the elite knight route. once fully upgraded its pretty nice compared to the high end shit that is ultra heavy and has endurance penalty.

How do I get Reah to sell me stuff? The white cloak lady with tweedle dee and tweedle dum. Never was able to get her to sell me anything my 1st playtghrough, still wont sell me anything now.

You save her in Tomb of Giants and she will relocate to the Parish. As long as you get to her there before going through two other areas (after saving her) she will be alive and will sell you her spells. Once you buy them all she will eventually take off. That is how it worked for me. If you save her but don't immediately get back to parish and instead visit two other areas after Tomb of Giants she will get murdered in her face and you will just find her pendant on the ground.

I found a way that makes him really easy;

Run towards him. That's it. Just run towards him and only hit him in between his swings, but keep running at him. You'll dodge all of his moves that way. SOMETIMES, one of his swings might get you, so to counter that, just keep your shield up in between your hits.

Yeah. It's faster, and your running is faster too.(I don't know if that's already known)

I'll give him props for making vids but at the same time, he's not that good. I've watched a few of his videos now and I just think everything he does is the extreme pussy strat. I mean sit back and hit Dragon Slayer for 10-12 Dmg per shot? or Xbow him for 50 dmg a pop? When I did that fight, I used Havel's Armour and Pyromancy. Finished mr Dragonslayer in like 10 seconds.

you can just use black firebombs as your gift and toss 5 of them at him and he's dead

Is there any scripted Dark Phantoms that invade in Sen's Fortress? Like Maneater in Blighttown and King Jeremiah in the Painting? I'm trying to run through the level but I am just constantly being invaded by people and it's getting to be a pain in the ass due to the terrain and all of them using it to their advantage.

I would have, Kais, but I went with the Old Witch Ring. I know I can get one for trading the maggot hat but I love that hat. I got through the Catacombs with that hat and I never want to trade it when I get it.

those are people in real life. just play the level hollowed until the bonfire at the end

not until you have the lord vessel but by then souls are super duper easy to come by
