Well if people read the preorder site direct from the publisher they would see the only "retailers" that are going to stock the CE.

My guess is these retailers had no idea which version they were being shipped. They believed what was posted on the publishers site that "all preorders" would be CE. Once they received their games to ship out they realized it was incorrect, which leads to where we are now.

Yeah, called them earlier and they were cool about it. One of the employees would even bump me up to CE if no one came by and picked it up. Was just surprised 2k12 was the highlight of the night and not the other titles from what I was told.

Pro tip. Preorder it the night you pick up dark souls. you'll make the guy at the checkout counter feel great, then simply ask if they will honor the "discount on book since you picked up the game with them" as long as you hold onto the receipt. With your discount and preorder money off, itll end up costing you like $15 and it'll be a sweet coffee table piece. I'm getting it for collection purposes more then anything, and the equipment list.

Aww damn so then it is is coming out after? I recently saw that the release date changed on Gamestop's site for the guide from the 14th to the 3rd. Are you positive it isn't coming out sooner Tekki? Future Press's site and Amazon also say Oct. 4th release for the guide. It looks amazing. Like you I am not looking to use it right out of the gate, but I think it looks gorgeous and as a fan I have to own it.
