also what weapon are you guys using, i'm using halberd but dunno if its the best

OP Drake Sword! Until it stops scaling... Hmm, Sunbro isn't dead, but if you aren't in human form then you won't see his summon sign. If you DO manage to keep him alive through the fight, you will get a Sun Medal from him though.

Sidenote: I know that Flasks don't heal NPCs, not sure about Heal. I know that in Co-op as a phantom you cannot use Flasks but can heal yourself by using Heal Magic or if the Host uses a Flask.

Sun guy should still be summonable even if you lost in the boss fight. The NPC I summoned for the boss to ring the second bell was still there multiple times when I died. And I'm using the Battle Axe my Bandit started with upgraded to +8 I think it is. I just got the Drake Sword so I'll probably switch between the two for a bit to see which I like better. Also found a whip earlier so I might play with that.

When you go under the bridge where the dragon is breathing fire everywhere, off to the right you should be able to see its tail. Keep shooting it with arrows until it breaks and poof, you get the sword.

FUCK GETTING CURSED. Fell in a hole that was so dark I couldn't see it, landed, before I recovered, curse>death.

-50% health until you remove (this is after you respawn), items cost 3K (from NPC in bell tower), 6K (sewer merchant), or free from running super far through a bunch of dangerous mobs to an NPC who will uncurse you.

Looks like i'm rocking the first free trade, trade one of the red stone thingies to the crow, and you can get 2 curse removals >_> I don't want to go back down to the sewer unless I have a lot of that shit.

Also, I forgot to ask... I was hanging out at the bonfire AFKing last night, and when I came back I had 11 Flasks. 10 makes sense because I had kindled it once (you can go higher than 10 also I believe) but not sure why I had 11. Is it possible that being at the bonfire when someone else kindles in their world grants you a flask? I found it very odd.

There's a staircase to the left of the altar that goes up to where he is. He's pretty easy when you're up close.

About the Boar's helm: I ended up getting it and I killed the boar with a backstab(full HP), so the backstab thing may be true.

The drake sword doesn't stay great for too incredibly long. Somewhere around the second bell, if your stats are high enough and you're upgrading weapons, things will start to catch up and overtake it. First thing that comes to mind is the Black Knight's sword.

Go back to the Asylum, the nest you drop stuff on is right near where you end the area the first time through.

just found another lizard in Darkroot Basin. I found him, but didn't know what it was until too late and it got away. I went a little further and then got killed by a black knight. I came back and the lizard was back. Just two-handed my weapon and ran up to him and was able to kill him.

fuck Ii hate this forest... I see something way in the distance... pretty sure it's that hydra monster...

Just beat Gaping Dragon. Had my first black phantom (who sucked terribly) invade in the sewers. I now seem to be in this seemingly bottomless pit with no signs of ever escaping... Also, some advice, if they don't drop something good, kick their ass off a ledge. I tried the catacombs and since the skeles never actually die, I just ran them back to the first room and kicked them off. Also, did anyone else find the room with 4-5 chests near the very beginning of the game?

I just got done killing that knight a minute ago. Shield and walking to it's right fuck it up. Shit, that strat works on almost everything so far.

near the miracle guy with all the pots, go up and fall down a hole at the top of the stairs, it puts you in an area with 5 chests and it exits you in the graveyard.

do enemies scale to your level? I haven't explored all of the parish yet, or even all of the Bulg(w/e it is) I think, and I'm afraid if I keep going further into the forest I'm gonna get just outright overpowered by stronger enemies.

The plant things and the golems take a lot of hits from me to kill them (I assume for the golems that's normal at least). They don't cause me much trouble, they just all take a lot of hits.) And right now it seems I have 3 paths to choose from; Go back to the Parish and go up that building with the trident magic casting guy, go fight the hydra thing in the lake, or go through the fog door, which I assume is where i'll be fighting the giant butterfly, as I can see it clinging to the castle above.

also; should I have ran into someone who teaches new magic yet? I started Pyromancer, but still just only have the 1st spell.
