Nope, can't lock on to the invisi-thief. If you join the Forest Covenant, NPC is just past there, all those things will stop attacking you. NOTE: If you do join, and later attack one of them (or a player phantom that is a member also) you will get blacklisted from the Covenant and will be hunted for it.

Yup, that place was a goddamn nightmare. So happy I am done other than just running through. There is also a Fire Keeper Soul to be found up there (surrounded by many Fire Dogs and Dart Blowers).

how do I join? only covenant I've seen so far is the faith one in firelink
Though I've also only really taken the Undead Parish path in the game so far.

There is a talking cat in a wall, just past the area with the invisi-thief, cleric, knight and others than attack your ass (best farming spot so far). She is the Covenant leader. She will give you a ring if you join that will allow you to auto-invade intruders in that area if you have it equipped.

my next follow up question; How the hell do i beat the invisible guy? blocking takes too much stamina, and dodging leaves me wide open a lot of times cause I have to reorient myself

Can you join more than one covenant per playthrough? Game seems to have a lot of trophies related to them.

you can, but joining one will remove your allegiance with any other covenant. no idea if they will let you join back up though.

My gravelord doesnt seem to be working. Thought I'd annoy some people by throwing the eye down by the ghosts in new londo ruins but no souls from it yet. Also does anyone know how long the transient curse lasts?

I want to say Transient Curse lasts around 10 minutes. I only used three when I went to the ghost place and I cleared everything out that I could find.

Did they randomize summons or something? Friend and I are 1 lvl apart and im leaving my summon sign where he is but he cant see it.

pretty sure they made it so you can't invite friends.



Forgot I had the cat ring equipped and I called called to invade while I was fighting the butterfly lol
and then I got owned by some guy who was apparently just waiting for phantoms to show up

It's not that they made it so you couldn't invite friends, it's just that usually the both of you end up in different, uh, lobbies I guess is the way to put it. You can both try quitting and re-loading (to be put in a different lobby) until your friend can see your sign, but it could take a while.

the ghosts in the depths area? no. they keep coming back, which sucks because the item you need to beable to hit/block them is rare. a vendor sells it though, but you need the Bulg key to open the locked door and gain access to the section he's in.

They'll come back if you die or use a bonfire. Someone on gamefaqs said they respawn, but none of them did when I killed them.
