Does anyone know of an easy way to describe how to get the Iaido Katana? Currently the only way into Blight town I have is using the master key after I ride the elevator down from the firelink shrine and enter through drake's valley. I saw a video on how to get it on youtube but they must be using another entrance because what I see is nothing like what they see.

I know I need to jump from a ledge but I'm having trouble finding it.

man, the developers didnt give a shit about the dragons , then you shoot it from above once, it glitches out and you get 10k souls.in this game. you can pelt the red dragon with arrows, safety guaranteed and get a higher lv sword, and that poison dragon in vally of drakes can be pelted with arrows 100% safely as well.

When you first enter the area after beating the Gaping Dragon, run straight along the path, keep left, past the zombie dudes and the fat guys, then you'll come to the edge, and see it. Gotta do a running jump. Careful though, I overjumped it and missed it lol.

Are you using the entrance from the Depths? If not, then there really is no point in trying to describe where it is. If you are entering from Land of Drakes then you have a very VERY long trek through to get it. So assuming you are entering from the Depths.... When you enter you will climb down a ladder into a giant circle. You are now in Blight Town. You will then take a shorter ladder down and face your first lumbering club wielding Infested Barbarian (the big blue guys). Kill him and slowly proceed. You will not climb down ANY more ladders from this point on until you get to the Iaito ledge.

So slowly proceed killing off any ghouls (careful to pay attention that some may see you in the lower area off to the right and climb ladders to you) and really just hug the left wall when you can. If you do this you will eventually get to the fery end where you can only go right. But instead, go to the very end and you should see a small shack with an item on the roof. You have to run and jump at just the right time and you will land on the roof. There is your Iaito.

Does anyone know where the bonfires are in Sen's Fortress? I'm at the Iron giant and havent seen one since the blacksmith by undead parish.

Apparently the ghosts in New Londo can be harmed by magic weapons too. That's good, was running out of curse items. Doesn't stop them from being a pain in the ass though.

When you first enter the area where the giant guy is throwing bombs, walk up the stairs from the first "bomb spot" and take a right, there's a broken spot at the edge that drops onto a bonfire.

You have to fall off the side of the tower onto a balcony. The place you fall is near a black spot where the giant throws bombs and has a corpse with an item on it originally. On the side of the tower there, part of the wall is broken and you can drop off the side there. If you edge up to the side, you can see it below. It is a short fall.

Lol that is a mean place to hide a bonfire.

Oh if anyone cares i found the Covetous Serpent Ring in Sen's Castle. just fall down right at the start and go up the stairs then ladder to the immediate left. at the top of one of those ladders is a fake fall, the ring is behind that.

    Few questions:

I accidentally attacked the blacksmith that sells the item that gives entrance to the forest, is "requesting absolution" the only way to get him to stop being hostile? I honestly don't think I can farm up like 50k souls (at least not without taking risks, which i don't want to really do because I kind of *need* access to him). I have about 30k atm, but most of that is from the vagina dragon in the depths.

Is a faith build viable? I can't seem to find any info out there on it but I looooved rolling faith in DS and have more or less already begun to build the same general archetype, I know there are "divine" weapons but I know next to nothing of the unique weapons in this game aside from the drake sword (magical 1hit wonder that thing)

I don't believe so, unless someone invades the other person's world and kills you. At least that's how it was in DS and of the two multiplayer experiences I've had thus far, it seemed to work the same way but I can't say for certain.

Keep in mind almost all weapons can be forged into Divine Weapons. There are a few exceptions, but for the most part 90% of the weapons can be upgraded into them. The Divine upgrade path is unlocked relatively early too and can be performed by the first blacksmith you 'unlock'. There are of course good Faith based weapons out the gate too, but it would probably be easier to to use the Drake until you get the Blacksmith what he needs. I see no reason why a Faith build wouldn't be just as viable if not more so than in Demon's Souls.

Just took a quick look and I see very few Faith scaling (by deafult) weapons. The Crescent Axe is one, and the Sword of Arturas is another (Ascension from a Boss Soul only). Other than that it would need to be either the Divine or Occult upgrade paths.

Actually, exit from the Bonefire tower and kill the 3 mobs that will attack you on the right, than go to the bridge on the left at which the upstairs undead are chucking firebombs and you can kill the stuff that will attack you from the room at the end. Right before that room there is a break along the wall and you can see glowing thing down there if you roll properly you will fall down and you can grab the ring right before the knight attacks you.
Than he will proceed to toss your salad but you got the ring and your death spot will be upstairs on the bridge.
