Dark Souls: Prepare to Die (PS3/360/PC)

Is there a trick to get the Ceaseless Discharge to kill himself? I've tried atleast 2 dozen times and I can never seem to get him to do it. I'm on Ps3

Moonlight Butterfly Soul + Spear/Rapier = Moonlight Butterfly Horn. Magic-scaling spear.
Moonlight Butterfly Soul + Shield = Crystal Ring Shield. Magic resist shield. Throws energy discs instead of parry.

Quelaag's Soul + Curved Sword = Quelaag's Furysword. Her Dex-based sword. Has a lot of fire damage.
Quelaag's Soul + Katana = Chaos Blade. Hiltless, basically.

Iron Golem's Core + Fist = Dragon Bone Fist. A magic/fire resist fist weapon that SHORYUKENs
Iron Golem's Core + Axe = Golem Axe. 1H R2 attack throws wind all around you

Ornstein's Soul + Spear/Rapier = Dragonslayer Spear. His Spear. It throws lightning with R2
Smough's Soul + Hammer = Smough's Hammer. Drains 10HP on hit, 2H R2 is a jumping swing.

Sif's Soul + Broken Straight Sword/Straight Sword Hilt = Cursed Greatsword of Artorias. It can hit Ghosts.
Sif's Soul + Dagger/Straight Sword/Greatsword = Greatsword of Artorias. 1H R2 is a charging thrust, 2H is a charging slash.
Sif's Soul + Shield = Greatshield of Artorias. 100/50/80/40

Gwyndolin's Soul + Bow = Darkmoon Bow. D Faith scaling.
Gwyndolin's Soul + Catalyst = Tin Darkmoon Catalyst.

Priscilla's Soul + Halberd/Scythe/Whip = Lifehunt Scythe. Bleed damage for 50% of target's total HP.

One thing to note here is that all of the unique elemental weapons (like Quelaag's Furysword) are the only elemental weapons in the game that have stat scaling: fire/electric enchants on regular weapons remove the scaling like Dragonstones did in Demon's Souls. Worth considering when you're looking for some new gear

What worked for me was getting all the way to the treasure, then running back to the start and waiting. That's the only time I could get him to kill himself. i.e: Even if you already have the treasure, still run to the box, run back to the beggining, cross fingers.

Anyone else notice sometimes you randomly get humanity? Not for a boss or anything it just randomly shows up. I usually notice when I'm running around and it goes from 00 to 01. Is it a 'Time played' reward or something? I had a theory that it was for leveling up my soul level but I checked and after leveling up I did not receive any humanity.

I've given up on trying to maintain humanity it seems pointless besides the increase in 'item discovery.' It doesn't seem to affect anything else. I kind of wish I did kindle some fires though instead of letting them be lost forever.

You can run+jump off the platform where the bastards huck Firebombs at you into the alcove where the ring it. If you are lucky you can then book it out of there and haul ass and hope he gives up. He did NOT give up for me, and followed me to Bonfire where I sat down and he promptly applied his sword to my eyeball.

He can't climb ladders so you can climb that one that goes up to where the bombers are.

From what I've read, if you kill enough enemies in an area without resting (might include using estus flasks too, not sure) sometimes your humanity will go up a point. And there's a limit of 10 times per area I guess.

Trying to join Blade of the Darkmoon covenant but can't find the NPC for it. Everwhere says equip the ring at some statue at second bonfire but i can't remember which is the second bonfire. is it the fire in the nicely furnished room with sunbro?

Equip the Darkmoon Seance Ring, obtainable from the Catacombs. Proceed to Anor Londo's second bonfire, the bonfire is located below the large spinning tower in the middle of Anor Londo. To get to where the bonfire is, you need to turn the large wheel in the middle of the tower so that it goes down, and then proceed down the stairs.

With the ring equipped, the statue disappears, revealing a hidden pathway. Follow this pathway, but DO NOT enter the fog you see ahead. Use the Kneel gesture at the carpet area just before the fog, and you'll be asked to join the covenant. The item Blue Eye Orb and Blade of the Darkmoon Covenant Ring is given to the player upon joining the covenant, which is used for invasions.

Well, for me. I had tried fighting him normally like 8 times. Said fuck it after I decided to Kindle the Bonfire near him, went to Youtube and looked for a Walk through on him. Found some IGN one and tried to repeat it over and over. He must have gotten very lucky with Discharges Pathing.

Question. In the spider room before Demons Ruins I keep seeing signs that say Hidden Passage and "Do a Lunge attack" on the elevator there but I can't get anything to reveal. Am I missing something simple or is this a troll?

I just found Shadow equipment set. A message next to it said "Stealth." Does it actually make me more sneaky or are they BSing?

I don't think it gives stealth. I was using it before i got the Gold-Hemmed Black Set. Was decent.

Apparently, you can't kill ANYTHING in the forest if you join the Forest Hunters. No trees or big black cats or anything...doing so will get you kicked out. Or that's what wikispaces claims. Such bssssss

I'm having that problem too. Nobody will summon me when I put a sign down, and nobody will invade me when I'm human, nor can I invite anybody to help with a boss. Either I never see a soulsign on the ground, or it fails every time.
