Yeah, I havent seen it buyable anywhere. Knowing its permanent tho... Seems like the best starting gift, except in the end, the key might be a waste, if you plan on beating all bosses. I picked witch ring hoping it gives me something super awesome

70% of this game just seems to be a copy/paste of Demon's Souls.

If I'm in the Forest Hunter covenant and not allowed to kill stuff in the forest, will those things still aggro me? If so, how am I supposed to deal with this? >.> Does causing the ghosts to fall to their death count as killing them?

I found a Lightning Spear in Sen's Fortress. It's much better.

I was using a Fire Battle Axe +5. Now I'm using a Gravelord Sword +3, I love it.

And I just made it to Lost Izaleth. Every time I find an area of the game that makes me want to pull my hair out, I find one that's worse.

the humans wont agro you, but the mimics and the big black cat will, but I dont think they are included in the nonkilling pact

Im using Nito's Greatsword or whatever after the Drake Sword, only because i was stupid enough and made it to the tomb of the giants bonfire and rested without anyway to permanently kill those stupid skeletons. Spent 4 hours running for my life, looting treasures and dying in order to get out of the tomb/catacombs. At least i got a lot of good stuff out of it and killed Pinwheel

Pick a weapon type you like, find one with a good scaling rating in DEX or STR, upgrade it's physical dmg out the wazoo.

Lifehunt Scythe +5. Was really happy to find I was right about needing Demon Titanite to upgrade it. Stuff is pretty easy to find, just kill all the Titanite Statues you can find.

Being human doesn't increase drop rate. Just having the humanity is enough.

Thanks, farming is so fun. You start out inefficient and then find better ways to do it. For farming the 6 slimes, I first started with the bow, shooting them down from the roof and then attacking with the sword, then I shot them down and used Firebombs, now I run past them, aggroing all 6, then I use Great Chaos Fireball, killing them in one hit. I love it. Only need 50 more Large Shards and 50 green
