I haven't tried it myself, but according to someone on GFAQS, it should take you back to the real world.

Holy fuck, I love some of the higher level Sorcery spells. Trying out Homing Crystal Soulmass and it's the first sorcery spell I have that does considerably more damage than pyro spells (if unresisted). Helped someone w/ the Smough fight to test out the new setup: Great Fireballs doing ~950 whereas Soulmass does like 1700 if all 5 projectiles hit. Can't wait to get my INT high enough to try out stuff like Crystal Soul Lance. Looks like investing in the INT based stuff will end up paying off after all :D
Well, apparently, from what I've been reading, Pyro doesnt scale with INT, its damage is only modified by upgrading the flame hand thing. That is until you reach max lv on it, then it begins to scale with INT.
I read it on the internet. It couldn't be wrong.
How do I open the door in the beginning, Im inside the castle, made it to the top, I see no switch
It doesn't scale (INT only changes the damage on the Pyro melee attack) but the base damage on it so far was making it grossly outdamage all of the INT based sorcery, with a maxed out Pyro Flame. To the point where my weakest fireball hits harder than my strongest Soul Arrow at 32 INT. That's why I'm glad the higher spells seem to scale way better than the lower stuff.
Before this spell I'd be throwing 700~950 fireballs whereas Soul Arrows could barely break 500, and that's for the ridiculously slow heavy ones I only get 8 casts of, and even then that was disregarding how many things resist magic damage (compared to the relatively few things that resist fire damage).
It doesn't matter, you can just go and try it, they don't actually die if only their phantoms die. I lost my sunbro phantom first time I called him against the Bell Gargoyle early in the game and he's still alive chillin at the sun shrine right nowedit: how good are onion knight/solaire on the ornstein/smough fight? don't wanna get them killed
well i just killed sif pretty easily, but there was no npc at the tower for me to join the covenant, the guy standing outside attacked me right away.
i entered the area where the 9 headed shit was, and took the tall ass ladder and killed 3 wolves, would killing those keep from seeing alvina for the covenant?
EDIT nvm didn't see that bitch sitting in the window
other question is in the forest there is a stone door that is somewhat glowing, yet it doesn't open, saw one just like it otw to the butterfly, but it wouldn't open for me either
There is a switch on the side of one of the pillers in the sewer area with the wheel skeles. Took me forever to find it lol. Titanite Demons are pretty easy as long as ya dodge their jump attack just try and stay behind them and score some 2 handed hits then back to shield to recover stamina.
Yeah, fuck that wheel...it was in the most obscure and annoying place.
Worst part for me was they troll you into thinking the switch will be behind the door that you find the key in the sewers for, not to mention the fact that wheel skeles are terrible and I hate them and everything they stand for.
EDIT: Old news.
Man I just sit here reading all this shit and all I want to do is go home and farm bullshit titanite for days.
Just beat Sif; What's the abyss and why would I want to traverse it?
The abyss is a big black pit in New Londo Ruins where you fight Four Kings.
wtf am i supposed to do on anor londo. im on the platform/elevator thing with stairs.
top setting = ceiling w/ the ninjas
middle setting leads to two sentries, a door i cant open, some bats and the stairs down just lead to a room full of ninjas and items
bottom setting = bonfire
am i missing something? wtfudge
Top ceiling leads down and around to painted world of aggravation
Middle setting, kill the 2 Giant Sentries, go right, kill the Spear-demons, you should find a path that'll take you a bit down to another spot with 2 more Spear-Demons, kill em and continue on the path.
I have no idea from your description as to where you are.
Btw, for those that like to cheese boss fights a bit, tip for quite a few of them
Spoiler: show
HOLY FUCK HOW DO I KILL THE BOSS IN THE PAINTING? SHE GOES ALL INVISIBLE AND SHIT
Look for her footprints in the snow. And don't forget to cut the tail off.
