If you mean Large Titanite Shards, then yeah, you can either farm for them there or buy them from the guy in Sen's Fortress. (4k a piece)

i use one so i just bashed a guy, it did 8 damage. i did it again, 8 damage again. my main does like 38

yeah, this is pissing me off now. Made it to Iron Giant and died, but forgot to rest at bonfire so I have to start all over and I keep dying stupid deaths before I cann even get close to halfway through the level again.

I didn't realize that the Hydra in Darkroot was not the same as the Hydra in Ash Lake. Thought they were the same. They fight the same? Once you get in the one in Ash Lake's face it is a joke.

If you mean Domnhall, you can find him on the bridge near Firelink, where you get a Ring of Sacrifice from.

Oh right the Crystal Ring Shield. Well that one is the one that you actually throw all Cap'n America style. It just did 720 DMG so yes it is true. Keep in mind every throw takes 4 durability away from its 120 max. So you should use it sparingly. Despite having Crystal in its name though it is repairable. It is also a slow as shit animation to throw it, probably takes longer than Fireball from start to finish.
