he's saying wolverine doesn't block kicks because he doesn't need to.
Don't be so mean to the guy, he has a point.
Wolverine, in the big motion picture, should fight like he has in all the other movies.
Ninjas, jason bourne, and jet li aside.. it would be a mistake on the director/writers/etc part if they kept wolverine's actor/story/etc the same but change the way he fights, right? I think his bare-knuckle fighting style (fuck if I know anything about fighting, but you all know what I mean) is a kind of trademark of wolverine to the public. But so long as they make it badass idgaf
I see his point, but what I'm trying to convey is the idea behind showing him in a high degree of skill fighting wise is actually a good idea. This is something to me that the previous movies have missed and are one of the reasons people find the previous movies to be crap. Allowing his fight scenes to be more fleshed out is one step in the right direction that this movie will NEED to take in order not to prove fanboys right and say no one can make live action comic movies quite like Marvel. Why is that so important? It's because it'll be more accurate to his character portrayed in comics for the past 38 years. Take The Amazing Spider-Man for example, a movie done by Sony not Marvel, allowed audiences to see some fight scenes that were ripped straight from the comics and your average non-hardcore and hardcore comic fans alike responded quite well.
Accuracy is important.

Guyverwhatever, you missed the entire thread.
I never said he shouldn't be as such. Just that he should keep to the "wolverine" aspect of being feral, aggressive (they even say it in that his main weapon is his rage, like an animal) and physical. He's plenty allowed to have skill involved, but don't make him out to be a martial arts guy exactly like Bourne/Batman, he has high strength and he is aggressive and that should be showing in his fights.
On a somewhat unrelated note, if Wolverine is the king of fighters in the Marvel universe and is indestructible with an indestructible weapon, does that make him one of the most powerful mutants?
Bold is wrong; he's not the best fighter in Marvel. He's just damned tough to beat. Hell, Deadpool has whipped him on several occasions. But his healing factor does indeed make him one of the most powerful mutants, simply because the mother fucker may go down, but won't STAY down.
Actually no, he's low on the Marvel power scale, he's just "the best at what he does", the healing factor, and the fanboy factor (Marvel has gone out of his way to put wolverine everywhere).
P.S. No I'm not hating on Wolverine so piss off fuckers.
who you talkin to, mexican?
The power level part to you, the P.S. to whoever might feel the need to come in gunz blazing crying wolf.
The more I read Kanriel's posts, the more he sounds like a furry. All he wants is for Wolverine to be feral, be like an animal and be more like an actual wolverine!
This nigga won't stay dead either.
I love Wolverine but he's not invincible. He's just really hard to kill.
So Magneto walks into a bar.....
and rips the metal off wolverine's bones..... and survives. in fact, also strengthens his healing factor to retarded levels since his body was treating the metal like a foreign body. Yup, nigga nearly cannot die.
