What's up with him having bone claws again? I get that the adamantium claws got cut off..but werent all of Logan's bones replaced with the metal...so he wouldn't technically have "bone" as it were correct?

You can even notice the bones when Silver Samurai is drilling into his claws - that's how he's getting his power as well

The original bone claws were grafted with Adamantium. Once removed, the claws do grow back, but as bone claws, since the Adamantium is not produced by his body. It would happen if any bone in his body was removed. It would regenerate, but would not have the adamantium grafted to it unless he undergoes the procedure again.

In re: 1) At one point Magneto ripped all the adamantium from Logan's body, which is where the idea of the bone claws originated.

As Kaslo said, Magneto ripped all the adamantium from his skeleton. Which is when we first learned he had bone claws in the comics. Since they are bone, I believe they were broken. In the comic, he got really sick when the adamantium was removed. Since it is a foreign substance, his healing factor was constantly fighting it. When it was removed, his body didn't adjust right and it was killing him so he was forced to rebond the adamantium to his skeleton.
Since it was only his claws that were damaged, they could do the X-23 route as well. She had her claws removed, coated in adamantium and then shoved back inside her body.
Also, we don't know how professor xavier is alive. Wolveriner looked as confused as anyone. I'd imagine it will be addressed in the next X-Men movie.

2. Xavier transported his mind into the body of a brain dead man Moira was looking after during the Last Stand which they showed in a post-credit scene. Not many people saw it probably as it involved having to sit through all of Last Stand to see it. Wasn't easy to do so they will probably cover it again in DoFP. His body was destroyed though so my guess is that he is using his telepathy to make Logan see him as he knows him to appear but is actually still in the body of the random guy. Either that or someone cloned him a new body though you would think if they went that route they would have done it so he could walk again.

This is what happened. For a while a Skrull had masqueraded as Wolverine and they found it out after the skrull ended up killed that the real Wolverine was missing. Apocalypse had found Logan and made him a horseman and re-grafted his body with adamantium. A lot of it went down with Apocalypse using the skrulls to help get the 12 collected for his attempted body transfer with Nate Grey

One of my all time favrit issues of Wolverine was he and Sabretooth fought for Apocalypse to get adamantium on their bones. Bub obviously won and later, as the horseman of death, almost killed Hulk.

From what my friends told me (that could afford comics back in the day): During the Apocalypse and the 4 horsemen fights, Wolverine was ripping into the Hulk faster than he could regenerate (this was back before the Hulk was written to be literally infinitely powerful and have instant regeneration. Also written before Wolverine could regenerate from a fucking drop of blood, which makes no sense). Once Hulk realized how much danger he was in, he hulk smashed Logan into a massive nuclear explosion.

Then again, that's how the story was told to me, who knows if that's what actually happened (Actually happened in the fictional comic universe...)

Movie was sooo slow... I can appreciate a slow movie when it builds characters and plot, but the characters sucked and the plot twists could be seen from a mile away. I swear this movie is only as high as it is on rt because of the credits scene.

I'd put it in the same league as iron man 3, not a terrible movie but god damn not the movie I wanted to see.

In the last dream sequence with Logan and Jean. She is wearing all white, in a all white room, with bright white light. Seemed to be a reference to the "White Hot Room".
