It's not just the Midwest, the Northeast is getting pounded as well. The snow outside is currently higher then one of the windows in my apartment. There are schools in the state of CT that have had a total of 5 days of school for all of January.

Weather in the Pacific NW has been better than usual this year. Less rain than usual, and some actual sun, including a nice sunny 45-50 degress this afternoon with not a cloud in the sky. Of course, at 7am this morning, it was a nippy 30 degrees or so.
