T6 VWNM clears (most other farming is done in shout/lower groups, but we try and reclear people on T6/tougher ones as needed).

Recruitment status:

We have purposefully kept recruitment at a minimum as Abyssea shifted the FFXI dynamic to more low man farming and rewards. Currently we are one of the few Phoenix LSs to not be forced to merge with another LS due to decreasing attendance. However, even with limiting recruitment, we still keep a comfortable member base to facilitate accelerated farming during larger LS events.

That being said, after examining current attendance and trends, we would like to see 3-4 active, competent, and fun people join the family.

Qualifications:

1. Empyrean/Relic/Mythic melee or a corresponding Mage job. If you are not an Empyrean/Relic melee, but are showing dedicated work towards a weapon (and can be finished in a short time), feel free to still apply. Note: We rarely farm abyssea as a LS anymore, but members are encouraged to low man weapons if you still haven't capped out all your melee jobs.

Exceptions to the above job qualifications can be made for players with a large selections of jobs (!! proc jobs, AoE farming jobs, TH6, etc) and the gear/merits to back up their applications.

2. Competent. We have a few more casual people in the LS, as well as some very experienced players. We are looking to increase the experienced base a bit. If you need your hand held, don't know where you're going 90% of the time, or have no idea what you're fighting at any given moment, please spare us your application.

3. Fun. As we move to more low man tactics and efficient farming in teams, we want people that will be good friends. Use of social sites such as Guildwork, vent, and our forums allow us to become better friends with the people we're spending most of our free time with. As such, it would be nice if we don't loathe your presence. People with a good sense of humor, thick skin (Neo has anger issues), and great personalities are encouraged to apply.

I encourage anyone interested in a fun group that can get things done but isn't as time intensive as some of the more demanding linkshells to check out our site and send questions to myself or Neo.

Wanted to update: We have now completely shifted our site to Guildwork!

Interested players can check out the guildwork site for LS info, albums, schedule, and application. We've had positive response from our recent opening in recruitment and will most likely not be holding it open much longer. However if a person meets the above specified criteria then I still suggest you check out the site and PM me with any questions.

Due to the having positive response from the opening of recruitment and the pending server merge, HomingMissiles is closing recruitment once again. Players interested in the LS can still apply and be considered first during the next recruitment cycle (LS attendance/membership is evaluated every 2 weeks and recruitment needs decided monthly).

As summer is here in full swing and FFXI attendance is dropping off a bit, HomingMissiles has decided to re-open recruitment.

We're not looking to over saturate membership, as we're at a comfortable size to handle anything in the game currently. However, we would like to see 2-3 dedicated players added to our roster.

Qualifications:

Geared and capable on 1-2 support jobs.

Relic/Empyrean melee (this doesn't guarantee you access, but not having a Relic/Empyrean will ensure you won't be coming on that DD job to very many events, if any).

Reasonable play time. - The ability to make our events, or be on during the week/weekend. We don't expect people to have FFXI as a full time job during the summer, but it would be nice to see your face more than once a week.

Our current schedule will be changing for the summer, but current event focuses are:

AV/Sea - Still decent money and quick.

Neo-Dyanmis - Have a few low man groups to farm and hit the new Bosses. Also mix in CoP dynamis once or twice a week.

Einherjar - Re-added this to our schedule due to Abj augments and the speed/ease of the event at 90.

Abyssea - We're not farming this event 7 days a week like before, but we are still working on furthering Empyrean weapons (80-90) and finishing misc +2 sets that members may need.

Voidwatch - Currently cleared all 3 paths, but will be farming each path more as members gain access/interest.

Misc other end game events.

Pro-active players that are informed about fights, do their own research, and are easy to get along with are encouraged to apply.
