While the Retrace scroll price reduction is nice, I can't help but wonder after reading this topic: does nobody have their nation's Retrace staff?
funny enough, I actually still have my AF weapons lieing around, so yay plus inventory.
and yeah, Retrace cost decrease is awesome, etc ect.
If they do make AF1's upgradeable........well, I hope they make it easier to re obtain. I aint erasing 5+ sets of AF.
To re-obtain AF, you don't have to ditch the whole set, btw.
25 pixies total, so 3 isn't enough now is it?
and don't you bring up all this walking BS <.<! Too lazy for that! Kill Mob > Retrace Scroll > getnother > Grauberg > Retrace Scroll!
for only 10 Notes now, Will be much less painful.
I can only think of a handful of trials, 20 at best, that bring you to the (S) Area... But 3 a day sometimes isn't enough if you're hard-core about your trials... especially the damn pixie one.
FFXI only has 8 GB of space to work with on the PS2, and they were running out of free space inside that 8 GB partition, since the patches were taking up double the space of their actual size (one copy being downloaded, and the old copy of the files being present until the install step was completed). That means that only a couple more patches of any size will fit if they try to add new content. Any more add-ons or expansions will likely reach the limit. We need the game to have access to the rest of the hard drive space.
From wiki: Artifact Armor quests for a job can only be reset after all 6 AF pieces have been acquired. Artifact Armor quests for a job can only be reset after all 6 AF pieces have been acquired.
I've reset 3 jobs in the past to upgrade peices. Fuck reaquiring all the peices to get a weapon.
If the weapon is good enough, you will probably do it regardless of whats in the way. Oh no coffer keys or something minimal.
That's if they're going to upgrade them at all \('-'
I think Nobunaga's Ambition Online is still running in Japan and requires the HDD. All other online games that needed it (Net de Bomberman, Minna no Golf Online, Pop'n Taisen Puzzle-dama Online, Front Mission Online) have shut down.
The big deal seems to be increasing the partition size above 8 GB, or changing the game to use a seperate partition for each expansion (which would be a big file manipulation ordeal to handle with a patch). The reason for lack of full access may be technical.
So they attached any sort of date to said major update? I'm not saying that they won't have one in the future but as it stands (maybe I missed it) they haven't given indication that they are going to have a major update in say March. Last year they were having an update every 3 mths I'm taking a stab in the dark and guessing we might have a major update every 4-6 mths this year. Especially if they have a small update every 2 mths.
