Farsha is still a good DPS main-hand axe, WAR's best option. I'd go with that if you aren't going to play RNG.

Rng will be a good dd again once abyssea is over. bst will not. And with Jishnus rng is a very good dd in abyssea, just of course the whole haste/march thing over shadows it. Either way, both weapons are easy to get compared to others. so make both!

RNG won't be a good DD outside of abyssea really. It was only moderately useful in a select few fights.

Jishnu's Radiance isn't going to be much better than Sidewinder outside of Abyssea, I'd bet. RNG Crit hits are only a 25% damage boost outside Abyssea, and 60% DEX is kinda an awkward mod unless RNG gets a bunch of STR/DEX gear I'm not thinking of.

Is rampage actually better than cloudsplitter for bst outside of abyssea? I remember seeing some fairly decent primal rend damage back in the day, but I know nothing of bst.

At the moment, if WAR isn't using Hasso then they'd be better off subbing Ninja and using two axes to DD pretty much all the time. 30% Dual Wield is a 40% increase in DPS.

I'm fairly sure ( no prove tho ) that full time seigan or even /nin Ukonvasara WAR beats /nin with Farsha and Rampage.

Could be. Ukon has a 30% DPS advantage to start with thanks to ODD, and its DPS doesn't get pulled down by the offhand. Farsha is just a really good axe to main-hand.

Someone in this thread (probably the previous one, actually) mentioned that Cloudsplitter has the same formula as Wildfire, so in theory, if it's true, Cloudsplitter is probably one of the best brew ws's.

I don't have Cloudsplitter tho', so I can't actually do any testing of it...

I think Wildfire should still pull ahead since cor can do that augmented Fire Shot, to up wildfire damage, as well as atma sets:

has it been determined if brew caps out MAB? I remember bringing it up when brewed mnk cata's were surpassing blm cata's.

That list looks right. If not Twashtar, I'd personally do STR Kila since THF doesn't get much as much attack as it should be getting. It's valuable for TP phase as well as SA/TA and WS. Whereas DEX is less so (accuracy should be fine)--really only shines for SA and WS.
