If 80% is the delay reduction cap, then you'd have about 35% DW (traits) + 5% Suppa + %5 Chainmail + 15% Haste (Magic spell) + 25% Haste from gear = 85%, so you would be capped on delay reduction there (regardless of weapon choice). Unless I'm missing something.

Edit: And if that's the case, I've been unnecessarily hurting myself using that...looks like maybe I should use Usukane Haramaki or Iga Ningi+2 instead of Nin. Chainmail...

(delay1+delay2)*(1-DW reduction)*(1-haste)= delay is how you want to calculate it

(180+210)*(.55) = 214 delay after dw (floored)

214*(1-.4) = 128 delay with haste and 25% gear haste

Minimum delay reduction for that would be (210+180)*.2 = 78 delay so you're still some ways off from that. Someone correct my maff if I did something wrong.

Ah, makes sense. So with 45% DW and 390 combined delay:

390/5 = 78 is lowest delay
floor(390*0.55) = 214 delay
78/214 = .36, so 64% haste to reach lowest delay with that combo?

The swaps are for serk up/down, there's a few more that can be done like pants, hands, head, and even body depending how bad you are hurting on attack.

Several people have tested it to be 10%. I can check again when I go back, but I'm fairly sure I was one of them.

So yeah, it gives 10% Dual Wield. AF3+2 is interchangeable with Nusku's + Suppa. Nusku's is interchangeable with Suppa.

4.2 = 84-96 delay = 54% to 47.5%
4.3 = 96-108 delay = 47.5% to 41%
4.4 = 108-120 delay = 41% to 35% Dual Wield.
4.5 = >120 delay = <35% Dual Wield

Iceday, DNC/NIN with AF3+2 hands... Looks like 25 Skillchain Bonus and 10% day bonus to me. Doing tests to verify what the heck AF3+2 hands do now.

Edit: AF3+2 hands are Skillchain Bonus +5 with a random chance of proccing. That chance is probably what increases going from AF3+1 to +2, not the bonus to +10. I'd bet the original tests were confounded by the weather bonus.

I don't see why not. Might need mnk to save tp for stun WS though depending on how much his -ga's do.

Mobs despawn when left untouched. That happened to me when I visited the tigers @ Vunk (A) months before the server shutdown. They started repopping once I remained in the area for a while killing tigers.

So I haven't played since the launch of WotG. I wanted to start playing again and level up, but I've been pretty out of the loop.
Do I need one of those 3 mini expansions to level past 75? Where does everyone hang out now? Where do I level from 75+? Do I need to do a certain quest/mission to access those areas?

Buy all three Abyssea packs. You'll need them since that's currently where all the action is.

WHM NIN WAR BLM MNK BLU THF all server some purpose in Abyssea and they're the top classes to level for that purpose.

Do a file check on FFXI. Open up FFXI (Your initial POL screen before you select the ID you're logging in with) > File Check > Make sure to select FFXI at some point in the process.

Does the NIN AF3 +1 body need to remain on after casting Migawari: Ichi in order to keep the lowered hp %?

Can someone else verify this: Atma of holy mountain is broken and doesn't actually have any light damage affinity. I attempted to check the strength of the atma, but my banish damage didn't change with or without this atma.
