no, for +1 and +2 you need to have the piece on when it is casted but can swap body pieces at will after the cast is completed.

partition of windows. he is currently running windows 7. 1440 x 900. But, as I said, the text looks like poop.

Is there a distance you can stand from Isgebind where aura wont effect mages? 20.1 should work right? couldn't find anything in search.

I'm wondering if anyone has had this occur: I format my HDD... reinstall FFXI, copy over the folder from a backup so I don't have to mess with update files. Copypasta eventually results in POL and FFXI thinking it's up to date. Ultimately, this wasn't the case - something was messed up in the files... NP, I can deal with that. The thing that concerns me is this: POL never updates to include the patch that asks for token info. I'm allowed to log into my account without linking it to my SQenix ID or One-Time-Password.

I suppose I posted this in Random Question because I didn't want the thread getting locked because there was a valid explanation as to why this occurred that ultimately leaves the rest of players assured that there's no issue with the use of tokens and the security of their linked accounts.

Real Question: Is this what I think it is? Is this an exploit that we should be concerned with? I'm going to be calling and informing SE in every way possible come Monday regardless... But I still wanted to know if BG knew of a rational reasoning behind why this backdoor might be available to me...

Addendum: If this is indeed what it looks like, please delete/move my post - While I'm all for exposing the holes, I'd rather some douche not take advantage of it...

Atma of Griffon's Claw do work on ranged ws if you are main handing 2 handed weapon. Tested using wildfire on shadow lizard. All tests are done on the same exact mob on windsday (neutral day) without any damage enhancement.

Test 1, Gun only:

823 * 1.2 = 987.6. Seems pretty definite. This makes smoldering/lone wolf/griffon claw the best atma for wildfire while brewing.

When reinstalling, abyssea was a downloadable add-on right?

Friend just put ffxi on her xbox and said she cant enter abyssea, why would this be?

edit: she is missing wotg, would this not allow her to enter abyssea?

yea, shes entered everywhere on her ps2, but it broke so now shes playing on an xbox. she has every expansion besides wotg installed. maybe you need every expansion installed to trigger the add-ons to download?

You need WotG and it even says when you download it or quest that you need it to do it.

Abyssea requires WotG to be installed.

Can't help with absorb, but elementals/combo-elementals in heroes zones should allow you to control resists.

Sadly no SS (this was sometime in 2008 I last noticed, no SS for sure and log is unlikely) but I'm 90% sure JoL absorbs darkness SC (Gekko > Mercy) damage during earth mode, but not dark/water. Ice we would've swapped to light-SC so not sure there. Bit of a stretch to test, but aside from detonation on Puks I haven't seen any other absorbs from mathy subform.

Well the reason I ask specifically about resists is that they're working off the speculation that there is a difference between elements as it applies to resists and as it applies to damage.

For chloris farming buds would nin and war be able to zerg it down after proc'ing red? i haven't fought it before, i have mnk but would like to be able to cover all procs for KI farming.

Chloris is a Visions NM, meaning you will have no problems at all at 90

I believe 15' works. Also, if you get hit with paralyze from wing, you can walk inside the aura for a few seconds then walk out and paralyze will wear off. You have to stay long enough for the aura paralyze to hit you. It takes a couple seconds.

Chloris is a Visions NM, meaning you will have no problems at all at 90

The biggest challenge to Chloris is superdoom that doesnt wear off after 4 cursnas and a stack of holy water.
