Windower question. A while back my windower was running fine had no problems using cheat codes etc. Haven't played in awhile came back reinstalled everything and it just kind of stops working. It runs fine up until it makes the switch from PoL to the FFXI window. Then it stops showing (windower enabled) at the top. Using windower3.42 on Windows 7. Any ideas?

Do you have the special playonline viewer for windows 7?

I'm going to guess you haven't given administrator status to FFXI? That seems to be the case with most Windows 7 people. Right Click the program (FFXI or w/e windower uses) > Compatability > Check the box to give administrative status.

He's not trolling. 6souls tested it and got that result. No one has checked other values because it would require /DNC consistently spamming TP, which makes the task that much more annoying.

question about walk of echos: my knowledge of it consists of what I just read on wiki 5 minutes ago lol. I'm looking to build the victory smite h2h. From what i've read it seems that people hit up conflux 2 and slimes? Also what job combo for duo would be best? My mule is 90 whm / 80 rdm(which i could easily finish if needed) atm. I have thf, mnk, war to 90, nin is 85 and i could finish that in a day. For farming these coins of advancement what would be the best set up for my mule and myself, and is it conflux 2? What sub etc? Just some input from people who have done this would be greatly appreciated.

Also, what is the timer to reenter walk of echos? I did not see it or missed it.

Probably don't need /dnc but I like it to stun dissolve (hate reset) and for haste samba. rdm/whm is a good sac cause they can come backup heal/enfeeb after they pull, I think brd would also be a decent sac with free RR and marches/elegy/mazurka. Just pull the bosses, should be able to clear with 5-15 mins to spare (can wipe once and still win.) Make sure sac is out of pt when they pull since everything has ally hate.

That's basically the right of it. Few things to keep in mind about WoE/Conflux #2 that are easily taken for granted:

1) As Ocara mentioned, ALLIANCE HATE. If you get a purple or red target, your only option is to kill or be killed. This is relevant because...
2) There is no crowd control. As far as I've encountered everything in WoE is Sleep/Grav/Bind immune.
3) Berry Slimes aren't on the map initially and seem to appear after the bosses are killed? I've sometimes seen none at all, I've sometimes seen a pair of them aggro the Death Spot five minutes after a kill.
3a) Berry Slimes are completely immune to melee damage, as wiki mentions. Formless can go through this. Dispelga can remove Formless. Be careful.
3b) Killing just about anything sometimes causes the enemies in zone to scramble. Sometimes bosses move to where you initially pulled from. Sometimes they move to where you killed the mob. Sometimes they just don't move. Keep an eye out after downing something in the event that you accidentally killed a Morbid Molasses' best friend from college and he howls for revenge.
4) /DNC stuns are very handy.
5) Sac Pull is the only option for Conflux #2.

Recent testing shows that Holy mountain does not add any damage. JP wiki says that it adds magical accuracy (instead of damage). Mostly likely it is a typo in the English version.

full of win. would assume values are just being between 0-100, 100-200,200-300 yea? so I mean that should be the hardest to test, get a known X-hit and just track each hit in each phase and WS once you are at 300, repeat.

Everytime time I use it I always just ricked clicked and hit run as admin, but I went ahead and gave admin rights to launcher.gui and it still only get me to where it switchs to the final fantasy window and stops saying (windower enabled).

Edit: got it to work where it does the transition. now it just crashes when it goes to update resources, abilites/spells etc.

I'm sure it's been asked before, but I'm going to ask anyway. Just came back to the game after taking a break in Sept. last year. I leveled a few jobs to 80 at the time, but didn't do much else with the new content. Now that I'm back I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed with the amount of content and I'm not really sure where to begin. I had "decent"-ish gear for 75 when I left, but it seems that most of it has been surpassed by newer gear. So, after getting my jobs to 90, where should I begin? I have PLD SAM DRG DRK THF and COR at 75+. Are there many things I can solo while looking for a linkshell? For a more specific question, can COR solo Chukwa? I have movement speed gear and a decent Quick Draw set. I read something about triggering weaknesses...something about if I pull it between a certain time and use a certain WS it will up the drop rate? Whats the rate on the collar from him like? 10% after the trigger?

is there a reasonable way to shorten amnesia? been trying to proc Karkadann for the pants on mnk/nin or nin/war with a whm dual box. even with baramnesia i only get 5-10 ws off in a 10-15min fight and it just hasn't been enough to get a hint and try all possibilities (mnk blunt, nin is a crap shoot for !!).

Double check to make sure it is using the correct registry settings in your configury thingie. Pretty sure Vista/7 has a different registry location, and Windower doesn't auto detect this (makes you say "I know I'm using that version").

The only thing I can suggest is updating your resources. Also, I don't know if this applies to you, but don't let it sit on that confirm/deny screen for too long (The one before the title page) because that will disconnect you.

chuck has been a stingy bitch to my group. thf+blue!! 4x and nothing. they guy that needs it has killed like 20x with th or blue on most. nm isn't really all that hard. shadows + decent regen or healer ( /whm is enough). the only real threat is if he does a -ga then stomp back to back. rest of the fight is a joke.
